Very handy. Very sharp!
I love all my Four Star knives and this knife is a work horse! Splits the difference between my pairing knife and 8" chef's knife and fills all those tasks with finesse and dexterity. Holds a Very sharp edge a long time before you have to touch it up. Light in the hand, easy to maneuver. Can't argue with the price on Amazon either verses retail.

A Sharp Knife - great to use!
I've never owned a real quality knife before. This arrived and was very sharp and I love using it. I like to use this on almost everything with the exception of a smaller paring knife for certain food items. If you are looking for a quality knife, you will like this very much, and will prefer this over your other knives. Caution - this knife is sharp, and if you're like me and were using dull and or inexpensive knives, you'll need to get used to it a little. I'd also like to mention the 5.5" is a great size for almost everything.

Nice smaller knife
Love my Henkel knives. This one is on the smaller side. Usual quality, the only improvement I would suggest is to make the handle more substantial.

Best knife I've ever used. Re-sharpens excellently.
The thinness of this knife makes it cut better than all my others. It's not obnoxiously large, but it's big enough for everything I want to do.Best knife I own, besides the other one of the same.

Not balanced
OK - I really wanted a general-purpose knife that was smaller than an 8" chef's knife, but bigger than a 4" paring/utility knife. I thought this would be perfect. The blade is good - crazy sharp and comes with all the Henckels tech. The knife is made in Germany. Here are the two issues:1. The handle is ridiculously narrow. Thinner than a cheap paring knife. It does not fit comfortably in a medium sized hand.2. The blade is much heavier than the handle (this is not a full tang knife) - so the balance is totally off when you hold it.For $100 I expect more. This one is going back.
