I purchased the 700ml and I was very happy with the size and durability of the bowls. Great size for an individual servings of your favorite food, etc. If you have any children or friends that are clumsy, no worries about breaking them. As for any dishwasher questions, I do not know because I hand wash my stuff and just place them in my dishwasher and let them air dry. Check out that info on Amazon. Hope that this helps you out.
