First of all I am not an electrician and my electrical knowledge is very limited. I was able to hook this up to my vertical mill easily to replace the older rotary phase converter that it came with when I bought it. This phase converter fit in the palm of my hand and saved a lot of room in my very small shop. I was actually able the mount it in an existing panel on my mill. Electronics have come a long way since my mill was built. The biggest worry I had was getting the correct size. The explanation on the page was very helpful with picking the size but I still had to ask a couple of my friends that are electricians just to make sure. I have been using this now for a few weeks and could not be happier.

Works like a dream on my twin motor 3 phase are compressor.
