I got this heating pad for a kitten that was abandoned for heat support. I was let down on this heating pad. It will not warm up on any setting or timer. Once in a while it will turn on but you can not change the default settings which is heat 3 and 4 hour timer which is really frustrating. I wish i could return this but i tried to work with it and now i’m unfortunately stuck with it.

I purchased this heating pad thinking it'd be too small, or smaller than some of the others advertised on Amazon, but it fits perfectly as a nice little warm spot for a cat bed.I have the temperature set to "Level 5," and though the heat isn't entirely consistent (it'll be warmer some hours vs. others, though I assume this is just the heat regulation so that it doesn't overheat), it's nice and warm without being too hot (or too cool). The timer is also a useful feature.For anyone like me who's not very good about measuring things or imagining how large dimensions are, this has the surface area of a medium/large frying pan. Good if you want a nice patch of heat, but if you want something that your pet will entirely fit on, consider a bigger pad. I find it's large enough that my kitties like to sit on it without it being bigger than the bed.The cover for this pad is plastic and water repellant. It feels like a thicker raincoat-type fabric; I don't mind it because I use this pad under a blanket or pillow for my cats, but if you want something softer or fuzzier for your pet to sit directly on, this probably isn't it. The cover does make it easy to clean, though.There's about 1ft of cable between the pad and the temperature 'remote' that's covered in the black coil; the rest of the cable is just a standard white cable. Cats haven't chewed through it (though mine don't usually chew on cables, so YMMV).

It smells terribly of a chemical smell and now the smell is on my cat. I don't know what to do, it is a Sunday and my vets office is not open till tomorrow to get her washed and for an assessment. I'm so scared for her!! It won't come off with just water and a rag and she would never let me give her a bath. It would be impossible.

This pet heated pad works better than expected well made and best of all it’s water proof and has a timer and heat control I love it

I put this on a dog bed, then covered with a baby blanket, for my cat that stays on my back porch. She loves it, and I do , too. It's very easy to use, I like the setting options.

I bought this for my cats back in early January and until now they have been loving it. It’s only the end of February now and my item has completely stopped heating, and of course the return window is closed. Not worth your money, better to find a more durable brand.

Puppy chewed through cord and almost set our house on fire!!! Do not believe that cord is chew proof!! I am so glad I noticed it before it did some real damage. I grabbed the cord to turn it off and an arc of electricity came jumping out! I was so lucky that I caught it in time. I looked closely at the cord and there were chew marks all over it!!! My puppy could and maybe was electrocuted which maybe explains why she didn't want to go near her bed! This terrified me so I came on here right away to warn others.

Cord is pretty long, easy to use, warms up well. Cats seem to like it. Ordered 2 and one is on porch tonight in a blanket trying to attract a stray. The other is in a cat house inside my garage and the other community cat has been there most of the day. Seems to work well.
