Undersized
The barb is less than 1" and doesn't give a tight seal. Most 1" barbs will measure around 1.08" and this one measured .98"

Who measured this?
It said 5/8” barb. The ID is less than 3/8”. The OD is even less and that’s not even how it’s measured. The ID is how to measure hose barb. Waste of time
