Absolutely perfect!
My 2 year old absolutely loves it! It's a firm rubber that's semi-posable, so he can easily move its arms. Its solid, so he can even play with it in the bath without me worrying about mold! It has the cutest (and creepiest) little face and the most beautiful paint job, he loves it so much 😁 totally worth the money, I'm genuinely shocked at the quality I received for what I paid

The media could not be loaded. This hermit crab is perfect for my child who is obsessed with marine life and ocean creatures! The toy is very cute and realistic looking. The colors are vibrant and don't nick easily. It is sturdy and has some weight to it. It holds up great even in the bath. Love it!

Serves as a visual reminder / free therapy
I bought this figurine after a recent therapy appointment where I discussed my narcissistic ex and how he used me for eight years. During therapy, I had a breakthrough and I realized that my ex was a "hermit crab". He had no home nor assets of his own, and used me for as long as I could until I could not do anything more for him. It was then that he left me for a new woman who was even more vulnerable (aka likely to put up with his crap) who also owned a home and could take care of him.This figurine was meant to be a reminder to me that my ex could not help himself- he was just a little hermit crab prone to looking for new homes and shedding them when they were no longer serviceable.He sits on my desk as a visual reminder when I start to feel upset that this is not his fault. He is just a hermit crab and that's what hermit crabs do.I named him Sammy and he's darling.(I cover his eyes and ears when my new boyfriend comes over because he's very precious and innocent and I don't want to destroy that.)
