Vedica Organics Black Salt Kala Nama, 3 ounce

I use this salt for my faux scrambled eggs. I have an egg white allergy and make faux scrambled eggs with aquafaba (the juice from canned garbanzos) and tofu. I add turmeric for color and Kala Namak for the sulpher like taste. Not exactly the same as the real thing but satisfies the craving.

Tastes exactly like a salty hard boiled egg. Great on top of just brand vegan egg and the gardein breakfast bowls.

Put on fresh avocado and taste just like egg. I could not believe how great it taste. Love it

Perfect fit and great price.

I bought this for one purpose and that was to make a tofu scramble taste more like real eggs. This salt does not disappoint. The sulfur taste mimics cooked egg yolk almost perfectly. I really got a kick out of having my family taste a small bit plain and hearing them all say tastes like egg. Pretty cool stuff.
