GAME CHANGER! NO need to declaw!
Someone is using their brains! This is an EXCELLENT product based on an excellent idea. Other products STILL require sight measuring and "Kentucky windage" even IF there is a light attached! For my playful cat and my old hands, I was on the losing end ALL the time getting clawed. I'd been using a grinder but no animal is fond of that frequency of sound and there's always the question of going to far. Along comes the WONDERFUL ZEN CLIPPER! I bought the XXS even though I know I could go up a size and not hit the quick [One should still eyeball each nail the first time to ensure they don't have a slightly longer quick somehow] and it's PERFECT. He STILL has a claw and can climb and play...it's just NOT SHARP any more and doesn't tear my flesh! He gets to retain his cat pride/features and I get to go band-aid - FREE! I'm just going to tie this into his monthly day of healthcare/grooming and I'm good for 4+ weeks! It feels like I've got a new pet! We can play and paw at one another in fun and no one gets bloodied. Additionally, though I DO have to restrain him somewhat to get them all, I find that he is more affectionate the rest of the day AND sleeps better that night. SO THANKFUL I STUMBLED UPON THIS product and am going to quiz my VET to see what THEY use! HIGHLY RECOMMEND x 100!

Love!
So incredibly helpful for my pup that has black nails. I was using a nail grinder before because I was afraid to cut into his quick with clippers. I was a little nervous with these the first time using them. But because you can only cut off so much because the hole is only so big there’s never any guess work now. Now we get nail clipping done in less than 2 minutes and everyone is happy. The mail size chart that is included with these is also AWESOME! Now instead of having to guess what size I need for my car I can just use the size chart provided! GREAT PRODUCT!

Cat nails
Works great for most nails but my cat has 2 nails that are thick and clipper won't fit over the nails.

Smaller than expected but nice
I bought the large for my little 14 pound pooches which should have been big enough. It chops off less nail than I expected, which I suppose is better than drawing blood. Some nails I had to re trim with regular trimmers. It’s a good trimmer if you’re only trying to snip the tips. The hole won’t fit any more nail than than, so you can’t hurt your pups. But I do recommend sizing up!

Definitely easier than I expected
I have an older nail clipper I got when I first adopted my furball, her and her sister hate the old scissors and pull away all the time making nail trimming nearly impossible. With this new scissor with the hole in the center, we were able to get a paw and a half ( instead of maybe just one nail) on both cats before they wriggled free. The only real issue is that even though we got the small it seems too big for their front claws, it might fit the backs perfectly, so it's more of a caution thing to be sure we don't go too far up on their nails. Might see if the x-small fits their front nails better and just have to alternate. Overall so far, pretty pleased with this purchase!

Really easy to use. 2mm size perfect for medium sized cat.
It was really easy and very quick to get kitty's nail into hole and cut nail. There is a bevel that helps you guide the nail into the hole. This is on both sides so you can cut from either side of clippers.Blades are really sharp, so nail cuts easily and quietly.2mm size was good for our medium sized cat (around 14lbs).

Size matters
Careful choosing the size… I ordered way too small for my small yorkie. I use it to snip the sharp tips of my cats front nails

Wish I'd have ordered more than one size.
I took a really long time deciding which size to order and used a sizing card as well, ultimately opting for the Med 3mm for the young, very tiny maltipoo new to our home. However, this size was still too small for his nails. It DID work on two of them though and worked pretty well especially given that this little guy does NOT want his nails clipped. The design made it much easier on my arthritic, often numb hands. I was able to access the nails so much better grin the underside as opposed to with traditional cutters requiring positioning of the paw that my dogs don't agree with. I wasn't ready to try another size when I initially returned these but have decided now after trying again with the many other trimmers we have, that I'm going to order the L 3.5 mm for certain and maybe even the next size up for good measure. All in all, I do think these are going to work out for us and make my life immensely easier.

Have the full set, worth their weight in gold
I have different sized dogs including Chihuahuas, toy poodles and min schnauzers. I purchased one pair to try, loved them, so I purchased a full set (except the very largest which i don;t need) Yes it was expensive to purchase the full set, but they are worth their weight in gold in my opinion, I can choose exactly the right size for each of my dogs, and I havn't nipped a quick at all since using these. The dogs are not as nervous with these as they are with normal clippers, and they are so quick and easy, and safe. I don;t use them for puppies, just adults as they are a bit bulky for small pups. they are perfect, a very good buy and recommended.

misleading sizes.
we ordered these after reading the other reviews. but our findings were not anything like the others. for a start off we took our time sort out what size so we downloaded a copy from Zen. We then tried looked at it and ordered two sizes down from the top,as we have two Rough Collies the youngest one 8 months old. When they came we tried them on our puppy and her claw would not go into them.properly, then on trying them we found the amount of pressure was so that you could not operate them ,so we had to sent them back, if you are thinking of buying take your time as we thought we had to get the right size .

As good as Zen claim
Are Zen Pet Nail Clippers as good as the claims made?I finally bought a pair for my Cookerpoo who has always suffered the greatest “nail clipper fear” and yes they worked. This time he didn’t seem to realise that I’d actually trimmed his nails, he was totally chilled! I have now bought 2 more pairs of graduating sizes for the other dogs and won’t be changing brand any time soon. They do cut quietly, quickly and without injury, just follow the instructions but do download/ print the size sheet before buying. My dogs are now so relaxed when I trim their nails, a relief for me and them. They are the perfect size, lightweight and easy to use tooThank you Zen Clipper!Katzenworld also offer a 1st rate service

best clippers
Best clippers I have ever used. It's also the first time I have ever used animal clippers. I saw a video and it looked so w=easy to do with no pain to the animal I thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I purchased these clippers they are so easy to use and my kitten had no idea what I was doing. I'm happy my furniture is saved and that I was able to give my kitten a trim with no pain to him what so ever. I highly recommend the Zen Clipper to anyone with any pet.

best nail clippers for cats
these clippers are so easy to use. You simply can't cut to deep. I'm not stressed = cats are not stressed either. Wish I'd discovered them years ago
