Very Nicely Made--My new go to replacement plug!
I was very pleasantly surprised with how well these were designed. Most replacement lamp plugs do not insure a great contact and either have a bite down connector or a screw that you wrap the wire around that often is difficult to insure a good connection. These are much better designed.Like most repair things these days, instructions seem to be an afterthought. To help out, I am writing mine. I have included a photo of the separated halves and plug assembly. From left to right in the photo is one half, the nut and bolt, the other half, and finally the plug assembly. The installation is a little more complicated but insures a much better and permanent connection. First, you simply cut off the old plug, separate the two lamp wires about 3/4". Strip away about 1/4" of insulation exposing bare wire. Separate the two halves of the replacement plug and be careful not to lose the nut and bolt. Next loosen the screws to each wire clamp but do not remove them entirely. Insert the bare wire into the circular tube of the wire clamp until it is fully inserted past the anchoring screw. Tighten the screw firmly to insure a good contact. You can check the connection by pulling on the wire. It should not pull loos Repeat for the other wire. Now both wires are solidly attached to the new plug. Now remove one of the screws for the wire clamp and loosen the other slightly. You will be able to lay both of the separated wires into the clamp by lifting one end of the clamp and sliding the wires under the clamp. Replace the clamp screws and tighten well. Now place the plug assembly in-between the two halves and connect them with their nut and bolt. When you finish, you should NEVER have a plug failure again. The nice rotation feature also takes the strain off of the lamp cord. This is one replacement plug that will not need to be replaced! It will be my go to replacement plug as long as I can get these.

Easy installation
Excellent replacement plug. Easy to install and appear to be well made.

Little larger than expected, but works fine.
I was a bit surprised by the size of the plugs when they arrived. But they are very easy to connect wires to and swivel very nicely to any position you desire, so I won't complain too much. Very happy with the price and quality of the product, just not the size.

These are NOT polarized replacement plugs!
This is a review of the 6 pieces replacement electrical plug Lamp plug 10 AMP 110-250V, 2 wire.A portion of the description says "this blade polarized plug". It is NOT a polarized plug, it can fit either way into an electrical socket. You need to be careful when using this plug as it could expose you to 110 or 250 volt current if it is plugged into the wall. (A polarized plug -- which this is not -- would let you only plug it in one way and could prevent you from discovering, possibly dramatically, that the chassis was live current!). I am not an electrician by trade but as an engineer I know white wire from black wire (ground vs live) and this plug won't differentiate.Installing the plug on a wire is non-trivial, it's not hard but it does require that you strip the wire to the copper. There are no instructions so you need to know what you are doing. With the first plug I used, one of the screws was nearly impossible to unscrew, and I could not use it. The second plug I tried worked fine, the screws turned easily. The 180 degree turn capability is nice so you can plug it in and lay the wire along the wall (not sticking out from the outlet). The plug is large enough so that it is easy to grasp.

Good construction
I purchased plugs locally that were very poorly made and accepted only small gauge wire. These plugs are well made, clamp down on wire with screws and accept reasonably large gauge wire. A pleasure to work with these plugs.

Unnecessarily complicated
Connecting the wire to the plug is way too complicated. There are easier options out there. Otherwise, after straining to use small screws to secure the wires, it worked well.

Great replacement plugs
These are super easy to work with and I love that they rotate. Buy them.

Poor design. I would not buy again.
I am used to replacement plugs the trap and pierce the cord without the need to strip the cord insulation or screw down the wires. Usual with one screw required. This replacement plug requires that you strip the insulation and deal with five screws.
