Well made product
I've used two off these on my property to seal the water shut-off valve access. So for this application it won't see any pressure at all. But it does keep out rainwater and critters. It is made well and makes a tight, confident seal when tightened.

It does not fit a 6 inch cesspool cleanout
Don't assume that 6 inch diameter means the same thing to all vendors.
