It works
God does the server community hate AMD and their products. It works but comparability wise is a pain.

Excellent video card
Excellent video card, a huge upgrade from the previous W4100. Supports up to 5k Res see below / CAD Certified / 4 x Mini DisplayPort to regular size DisplayPort adapters included / Full height and low profile brackets included. If you plan on using DVI monitors you must buy separate Mini DisplayPort to DVI "ACTIVE" adapters to get all 4 ports on DVI.Resoltion supported is based on the type of DisplayPort cables and monitors that you are using:- Max DisplayPort 1.4 Resolution: 5120 x 2880 (5k)- Max DisplayPort 1.2a Resolution: 4096 x 2160 (4k)- Max DisplayPort 1.1 Resolution: 2560 x 1600NaplesTech

Works with a Mac Pro 2019
Could not have been simpler. Open the case, pop it in, turn it on. No power cable needed (powered off the BUS). I did have to put the included full hight bracket on (which was easy).I am running two Apple LED Cinema Displays as secondary (and third) monitors connected to this card. The primary monitor connects to the main video card that came with the Mac Pro (AMD Radeon Pro 580X).

What a disappointment.
I was excited to see AMD produce a card that looked like it could be the start of something great again for them. I remember the cards ATI used to knock out of the park in the early 2000s. Then ATI took turn for the worst, driver support became terrible and the quality issues were abundant when all looked bleak AMD stepped into bail them out and they made it even worse cards had great specs but wouldn't last more than a month or two. DEC 2016 comes along AMD decides to toss the old ATI brandings and release a new card made by them and back it with a 10 year warranty. I though to myself, wow they must be finally serious. So after 10 years I bit the bullet and tried AMDs new card. I was even a bit excited about it.What a disappointment. On paper this card is sweet, top of the line for low profile low power workstation card. Leave it to AMD/ATI to screw it up with terrible follow through. The first Issue I had with the card was the driver conflict with scetch up I tried both released drivers and several fixes I found on line. No luck, I have paid for support I was planning on getting to help me thought the sketchup issues. I didn't even get that far... turned the computer on today, video is all messed up, displays either mirrored coppies of the desktop on one LCD or a pixelated desktop. The card Died in 2 days.. without me even getting a chance to tax it. I've returned the card, Amazon was kind enough to process the return for me.

Great on Linux, but driver needs work for thunderbolt eGPU
My needs are very strange. I sometimes need horsepower to process satellite/radar imagery and do 3d work, but most of the time need good battery life. I also run Linux, so I'm a bit selective with my hardware. I got the WX4100 back before the GPU shortage at a reasonable price, and it's perfect for what I need: a low-power GPU that can handle tons of displays and power through visualizing absurdly large imagery datasets, without needing external power (so I can use it with a cheap thunderbolt dock). Docking one star for the fact that Thunderbolt hot-unplug on Linux currently causes a kernel panic and locks up the system, but otherwise it's awesome (the above issue can be resolved by simply powering off every time I want to undock, which is only once or twice a week).

Need compatibility? Look elsewhere.
I could not get this working on several computers of recent vintage. The details are boring, but basically this is not a very friendly device; it does not like all of the computers that it is supposed to be able to work with. I missed the return deadline, so it's become an expensive doorstop.
