Bad Luck (The Bad Books, 2)

This was a wonderful series and a perfect "kinda" sequel to his "Perfect Series" books. My 12 yr old daughter read the whole series to me over a video chat app and she loved the story, the way it was written, his humor, the characters and she cried when it was over. She still likes talking about it. I really hope he writes another series and incorporates some of the characters from the storyline as he did with this series. It was also a good opportunity for my daughter (who is an excellent reader) to learn some new words and proper pronunciations. Occasionally, the author uses some bigger words in appropriate places. This could be a little challenging for say, a nine year old who reads on an average grade level. However, that wouldn't stop a preteen from understanding and enjoying the story. Good job Pseudonymous Bosch!

I'm always on the lookout for a great series for my daughter so I jumped at the chance to read Bad Luck. I was no disappointed. I kept reminding myself the book is for kids, yet I really enjoyed it. I started telling my nine year old the story and she was quickly hooked and asking to read the novel. Bad Luck is a great mix of mystery, adventure, and best of all (for my daughter anyway) a dragon.I highly suggest this book to all the young readers who enjoy adventure and perhaps the older readers who enjoy a good read.*The novel was given to me by NetGalley for an honest review.

This was my granddaughters second time around on this book because she lost the one she had. She loved it so much, she asked for another one for Christmas.

Fun, entertaining read for 8-12 - my kids enjoyed the story, humor, and witty remarks incorporated into the storyline.

This book has an amazing storyline, good character build-up and good humor. If you read the whole series of the secret series and bad series it pulls together amazingly

You need to read all books in series

I'm not a big fan. These books are good, a bit unbelievable but they are fun adventures. My son loves them. A bit like Percy Jackson.

My ten yr old daughter thinks this book is great. I would recommend it to 8+. It is a shame there are only two books! :)

If you have read the other books in the series and enjoyed them, you will love this book. It finished too soon, perhaps could have written more at the end of the story. I hope it is not too long before the next book is released.

Even better than the last one, which was amazing. (the eye is quite creepy though).AND IT CONTAINS NO DRAGONS WHATSOEVERMy 11 year old loves it!

I am relatively young and I enjoyed this exceedingly. I have read all his other books and those are great as well.
