History Mystery: Tughlaq And The Stolen

Interesting
"Tughlaq and the stolen sweets" is a history mystery short book with a perfect balance of fact and fiction.Mohammad bin Tughlaq, the great ruler, is furious because somebody has stolen his favourite dessert, the sugared melons from Khurasim. He then forms a group of three people led by Ibn Batuta for the investigation and name the group "Thunderous three". Will they be able to find the thief or had to go through Sultan's hard punishment? The book is mainly written for young readers, children around the age of 9-10 years or so but can be read by anyone. The language is flowy and the narration is delightful and impactful. The cover is so gorgeously and aptly designed. I don't know why but I had an Akbar birbal stories vibe while reading the book and that is another reason why I enjoyed this book. Also, the book is full of illustrations making it even more exciting.

Must read for children! My nephew was laughing out loud all through
Got this book for my eight-year old nephew. He was glued to the book and laughing every now and then. He’s been quizzing me ever since about all the facts he found in the book. I’ve now learnt that there was a horse and foot postal system back then! And that magicians came to court to show amazing tricks.
