... the second in the series and is just as wonderful as the first
This book is the second in the series and is just as wonderful as the first book. It is filled with interesting characters that live in wonderful little towns I would love to visit. The details of the character's lives and the interaction with the characters from the first book made it hard for me to put the book down because I wanted to know what happened next. I love Wren's style of using the charters and story line to learn the Celtic Tree alphabet. It is a great way to get an introduction into the basics of what the individual glyphs mean and it's easy to remember that information in relation to what happens in the story. I can't wait to see what the next book in the series will bring.

Very enjoyable read
A wonderful tale for all of us who would love to grab a broom and ride like the wind or witness the birth of a dragon. A perfect continuation of the story of Mae's Crossing bringing to life magickal folk from Celtic lore whose lives intertwine with those whom we met in the Runic Trilogy.

A book of many layers
Wren's second book, establishes her skills as an author and a story teller. Treespeak is a lovely tale of intersecting lives and places, leaving the reader longing to find a physical and spiritual community, such as Mae's Crossing. The book, as well, is a wonderful learning tool for all interested in the Celtic Ogham, and how each symbol works in practice, in everyday life and situations. Her descriptions of circle work, and spell work, would benefit many who walk a Pagan path. Wren has truly written a magickal tale, and I look forward to her next book in the series.
