Workout companion
I bought this for some HIT training. It takes a bit to set it up. I've been using the wrist band. I haven't had any issues with it. It's a little larger than you might expect and can get in the way sometimes but all in all it fits the need at a decent price.

Simple, easy-to-use and effective.
While injured, a run club I once ran with was using Gymboss for my first-ever run-walk session (20 miles), and it worked really well for me so I decided to buy one to use it for the big day. A bunch of other people were using the Gymboss on race day as well (you could hear the same beeps very well on the Verrazzano and Queensboro Bridges). It’s simple and gets the job done. Super easy to program, as well!

Does the job- needs clearer instructions
Perfect for my run/walk program. Knocked off one star because the instructions are very confusing. After you figure out how it works, it is fairly straight forward and simple to use. I also recommend the optional wrist strap for running.

If you do any wal run intervals this is for you. It is a nice volume to let you know when it’s time to run or walk.
