There are good and tasty. But not enough in bag.

Great snack! Crunchy and light. Some of the fruit is a little too tart, but overall a good product.

Yep it's freeze dried. The pineapple was ok. The apple & pear...not impressive. The peaches were green/not ripe and had terrible taste not resembling a peach. They are white which indicates they are either not yellow peaches or were not pretreated with ascorbic acid or lemon juice. Strawberries are *very* tart compared to others I have. All of them have the *same* odd odor resembling cardboard or plywood, not like fruit. This is unusual for freeze dried fruit. On a blind smell test, you wouldn't be able to identify any of the fruits.If I had to guess, I would say the fruit itself was not good quality or not ripe. It may be old but was crispy so it's anyone's guess.Wouldn't buy again.

So this was my first time trying freeze dried fruit. I was really looking forward to seeing what all the hype was on freeze drying fruit. I love dehydrated fruit and such, so I figured with my love of fruit these would bring me great joy. Unfortunately the hype of freeze dried fruit is not what I expected. I started with my favorite fruit, peaches. The whole bag was very small, I didn't realize how expensive this was. I found a few pieces to have a terrific peach flavor, but mostly they reminded me of if you ate a cosmetic sponge. No flavor and spongy. I then tried apples. This had more flavor but it's just not enjoyable like dehydrated fruit. This will last longer for sure. It's not sticky and if you mix it into granola or make a trail mix it works great. I highly recommend mixing them into things to elevate the fruit. I wish they didn't cost so much and I'm looking into buying a machine to freeze dry and dehydrate my own things to cut down on the cost. I have a dehydrator and love making jerky. I'll get myself a freeze dryer and dehydrator for fruit. Again, these are fine but very expensive and work better being mixed into something else. I love fruit so that's why I'm giving a 3 star instead of it being lower.
