The Art of the National Parks: Coloring Book (Fifty-Nine Parks, Coloring Books)

If you've been looking for a nature or national park coloring book – this is the product for you. As a fan of hiking, the outdoors, and national parks, I'm constantly on the lookout for nature related adult coloring books. Unfortunately, most available products focus on fantasy scenes, with complicated designs and artsy flairs. What I've been hoping to find is a coloring book with actual locations, real landscape scenes, and information about places I can someday visit. After searching for months at the major department stores, book stores, and so forth, I hadn't been able to find anything remotely close to these qualifications. Then I went to Amazon.“The Art of the National Parks” meets all of my coloring book desires. It allows one to color in real locations, beautiful nature scenes, and places that are actually within reach (for those of us in the U.S.). No fairies or magical mushrooms here! Each time I draw a national park, I feel motivated to further research and plan a road trip. I actually wasn't familiar with most of these locations before working through this book! Each of the scenes is unique and awe-inspiring.One factor to consider is that these designs are simpler than other, super complicated and fine-lined adult coloring books out there. This may be a negative to some. But I've personally found this to be an advantage, as the creators have found a perfect medium that works well for both adults and kids. So if you have children (or nieces/nephews) this would be a perfect family project. I would 100% recommend this product to all of my artistic and outdoorsy friends.

Worth the money. Fantastic for teens and adults

I bought this for my elderly mother along with another similar book. I ended up only giving her this one because it had better quality paper and more interesting and varied images. The images are slightly stylized rather than being photo realistic. I think this makes them well suited for creative coloring.

Love it. Beautiful pages!!! I got this for myself to help destress. It fun coloring the pages from the national parks I have hiked. My son came for a visit, saw it and stated he thought it was great. Got him one for his birthday. We both love it.

10/10 very nice coloring book.

We really enjoyed the book, we decided to visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After our trip we colored our memories ❤️.My daughter is 5 years old, but this book is perfect for grown ups too.

All images are digitized by one person, they are all the same with repeated image bits repeated throughout. The pages are printed on heavy paper, but not art paper made for adding color. Nothing quality in this product.
