WiFi Freezer Alarm and Refrigerator Temperature Monitor – Wireless Freezer Thermometer (10 Foot Sensor Length)

I have two of these monitors at different locations. Very easy to setup, the 2nd one was even easier than the first. If you're concerned about a freezer / fridge malfunctioning or going offline because of a power failure, than this is for you. I've tried battery powered units that are supposed to sit inside the freezer and they don't work nearly as well for two reasons: batteries don't like cold temps and wifi signals are blocked by the metal walls of the freezer. You can set trigger points for the alarm for any range (freezer or fridge). The system will contact you if the sensor detects temp is out-of-range. It will also let you know if it can't connect to the system for some reason, like your wifi is down or there's a power outage.The sensor also collects humidity information, so if you have humidity sensitive goods, you can set alarms levels for this as well.You can also get a graph over time showing the temp and humidity range. Found this really interesting to see how one of my freezers had a much bigger temperature swing over time than the other one. It never went out-of-range, so it didn't trip an alarm.Very happy with these units (built in the US). Customer support is excellent. When setting up my 2nd system, I misspelled my email address (duhhhh) and they figured out the problem and fixed it in a few minutes. Very friendly staff.May not be the cheapest freezer alarm system, but think about the cost of the food you'd have to replace in even a modest freezer if something happens. Money well spent, in my opinion.Save your money trying the other systems and just go straight for the best.

I have had this product sadly for 2 years. I am in the process of throwing this away and getting a different brand. From the moment I bought this it has not worked as I would have hoped. I am out of town a lot. When I first set it up it worked just fine then I went out of town and it would send me multiple alerts via email and text that I have lost wifi/power. WELL.... there is a HUGE difference. One is thawing all of my meat the other is just not connecting to the wifi. I have put up with that for 2 years now, bought an extender, to try to help and ultimately I would have to have someone go to my home and just double check that it is the wifi and that the power was actually on. Almost always it was wifi. This morning was the last straw. My husband was in the deep freeze on Friday morning and the door didn't get shut all the way. I went into the garage this morning (MONDAY) and there was blood all over the floor. No text, No email NOTHING. Log onto Level sense and it says ALARM in red bold. Double checked the settings and they appear to be correct. This product is going to the garbage along with all of my grass fed Bison! FURIOUS!UPDATE: I went back through my texts and emails and found 1 text and 1 email on Friday morning both of which I missed, telling me it was 28 degrees (should have alerted at 10 degrees). I would think it would shoot out another warning as DAYS went by without resolving. Nothing was ever sent again.

I purchased the freezer sentry device to monitor my freezer. I usually keep a large amount of meat in my freezer. In the past I experienced a power outage and the goods in my freezer were spoiled. With freezer sentry I can track the temperature and humidity of my freezer from my phone. Within the first few weeks of owning the freezer sentry I experienced a power outage, and the device notified me that it was offline. I was able to address the issue by moving my goods into a cooler to prevent spoilage. To boot the project manager dropped a note in with the device with his contact information. This allowed me to reach out when I was having some issues with the mobile application. The android application has been updated and I am able to monitor from both the website and the application.

Worked good for a couple of years. The app was nice to watch the temperature range and how often the freezer kicked on. Now it loses wifi connection on a regular bases. Tried tech support and they told me to try a couple things, but it didn’t work. Now I just turn off notifications so I don’t get a text at 2:30 in the morning that it has lost communication.

Bought this to monitor freezer in our garage while we are on vacation. Easy to install and set up. No batteries to change. Love it that it will notify me by text and email if temperature rises above my set limit AND/OR if power is lost. (All this and not having to pay a subscription fee) Everything I was looking for to provide peace of mind while away from home! If tis holds up, don't see where you can go wrong with this purchase!

Just got this for our garage freezer after spending a lot of money buying half a cow to stock the freezer for the year. It was super easy to set up. Very user friendly!! Has a manual and a YouTube video that walks you thru it.

I have not been able to pair this with my network.

couldn't set it up inspite of numerous attempts. Only the power light came on and couldn't get the code to link it to my freezer.
