Mikasa Delray Bone China Pasta Bowl, Set Of 4, 9 inch, White

These bowls match the rest of my dishware from Mikasa and are so versatile! They're great for both soup and pasta nights. Also sturdy and heavy. Love them!

I’ve been on the hunt for these pasta bowls (I call them raised plates but to each their own) ever since I came across them at TJ Maxx! Like most good things at TJ Maxx, I was only able to find 1 of these plates (at $3.99) and haven’t had any luck finding more after that… and it just didn’t feel right to order them off Amazon for full price at $36. However I immediately order 2 sets once it dropped down to $28. They’re great pasta bowls, but they’re also really great for other family style dishes that are particularly saucy. Even simple things like steamed Bok Choy look a lot more elevated when plated.The “pasta bowls” definitely have a lot more depth than how it looks in the photos. I also like that the bottoms aren’t smoothed out but instead have a slightly raised rim to prevent it from sliding around on my glass table.

After years of using ikea dishes of a very similar shape and size, I just got tired of my dishes having those grey and black marks all over them because of the inferior material they were made of. Plus, if you hit those ikea dishes in the wrong way, they chipped, cracked or broke completely. I use these Mikasa ones every day and they still look great! No chips, dings or anything. And now I’m not embarrassed to use them when company comes over! You definitely get what you pay for.

These are high quality bowls and are the perfect size for pastas like spaghetti, rigatoni, bow ties, etc. Pasta experts say ravioli and lasagna is best on a plate but bowls are best for most pastas since they keep the pasta hotter along with a few other positives. I had my first spaghetti dinner last night in this bowl and after searching around for quite awhile for different brands, colors and sizes of pasta bowls, I made the right choice. They are safe in the dishwasher and microwave and are said to be very durable. They are also good for salads. I love this set of 4!!! Highly recommended.

Very simple and light. I love these plates as it is good to hold the food without worry of food moving off the plate when you are moving with the plate. Bone china is always light. I hate ceramic b/c it is so bulky and heavy. I have corelle too.

I’m glad I purchased these to go with the complete dinnerware set. They’re very versatile. Classic and simple style is casually elegant and goes with anything. One bowl was broken on arrival, but Mikasa sent a new set without asking for the originals to be returned. So I ended up with a few extra bowls.

Greats pasta bowls. They are a good size and have a clean and simple design. We own other Mikasa dishes, but these ones seem to be a better quality. Whatever coating they use on them constantly feels nice and slick so they clean up very well.

I ordered 4 bowls to match my dish set - then ordered another 4 which ended up arriving completely broken, It would be good if amazon shipped in a proper larger box with padding rather than the manufacturers OFF THE SHELF packaging. what a waste of product, time and energyTHe bowls are a great size for spaghetti or salads thats why i ordered them 2X
