Dorco ST300 Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades - 30 Ct

These blade were great, solid and sharp and provided a nice, clean shave without any cuts! These don't have quite the bite that the Astra blades have but are platinum coated like the Astra's. Everyone's face is a bit different so it's important to try a few different brands to work with. I found that I can use these blades if I feel the need to shave again a day or 2 after shaving.

Razor blades are one of those things that people really seem to have individualized preferences to. When I started to use a double-edge razor I bought a sampler pack of about 7 or 8 different blades. It came with some of the most popular varities from Feather, Astra, Gillette and a few others. I got a little bonus of TWO of these Dorcos thrown in my sampler. They were, for me, hands-down the smoothest and best-performing of the bunch. My impression of them is clearly entirely my own, but I found "my" brand in Dorco. I can't say there's anything special about them but they don't pull like the Gillette's and don't gouge me like the Feathers. They give me a smooth shave without any problems. I can usually get about 5 shaves out of them before they start to get a bit dull for my liking. As long as Dorco keeps making them I'll keep buying them.

Good blades at a good price. They are sharp yet forgiving. I think they are better than the blades from the grocery store in that they are much more consistent from blade to blade. I recommend this blade to people who are new to using double edge safety razors and also to people that have sensitive skin.This is my second batch of ST-300's. I will purchase more as needed, and I highly recommend them.

I have a nickel allergy and these blades never cause me any irritation and they last a really long time.

I have been using these blades to trim my spun deer hair bass bugs for fly fishing. They are basically the only way to trim the hairs. They are extremely sharp, and do a great job. At this price, they are a great value. I can usually do two to three bass bugs with one blade, which is about normal. Then they get dull, and don't cut well. Since I only do a few bugs a month, this order will last me quite a while.

They provide a closer shave than the double razors and electric that I also tried. By storing the razor head in baby oil the blades last a long time.

These are my new favorite. I was using a Jagger DE razor, but it broke. Now I use them in a more aggressive Merkur and in a Feather lightweight razor. These give me the best shave with comfort and [usually] no blood. They last a while, too. Perhaps after my face adjusts to these razors, I will have to change it up again, but for now these are my new favorite.Of course you will have to try a number of blades to determine which work for you, but these are in the top 3 for my face. I have tried at least 20 different razor blades, including the Lord, Nacet, Personna, Iridium, Astra, Feather, Merkur, 6 O'Clock, Derby, Shark, and others.
