Read the manual
Needs a 2a or higher charger or it won't charge. Will blink red when low. Even plugged into a less than adequate charger. Others stated this happened after a few months so I'm assuming the battery inside has sat forever before shipping. It may come with the storage charge, doesn't mean the lipo is healthy. Mine went down to red. I found a 3amp charger and after 10-15 mins started blinking blue. It's now blinking green and goes solid when fully charged. I always assume nobody understands the tech or misunderstand it. Most don't read the manuals. It's laughable how many people return items they just don't understand. I'll go as far as popping it open when it dies and will update this review as time goes on. As of now, it works flawlessly

This is a MAJOR tip to help purchasers of this product.
I bought this case and in about 3 months it stopped working on me like many people report in the reviews. I almost bought a OEM case or a new set of AirPods but I discovered the following: When this happens the case isn’t really the issue, the AirPods need just a sort of “reconfirmation/reset” with an oem case. I put my AirPod pros into my mom’s AirPod pro 2 case and this reset everything and I’m likely good to go for another 3 ish months or what have you. As long as you have access to someone’s oem case every handful of months, you shouldn’t have an issue. If you don’t, you might have better chances buying a used oem case. But of course you’d want to disinfect prior/after swapping around earbuds in other cases if you go that route.

great for the value, and that is all.
I lost the original charging case for my AirPods Pro and needed a replacement. I felt this replacement case was the best route to go (the other option besides buying new AirPods completely was buying an actual Apple-brand charging case on eBay for about $60). $30 is a steal for this replacement charging case, but the thing cannot hold a charge if left unplugged. Percentage will drop overnight or even die if it's not plugged in -- plenty of times I've gotten ready for a run, only to realize my AirPods are dead despite being fully charged the day before. If you are able to have these plugged in at all times then they will be a great purchase for you, but that is pretty inconvenient for me. Another issue I had with these was the lid to the case was sort of loose and would always open while in my bag, further draining batteries or making phone calls confusing when I think I'm picking up the call on my phone when really it is through my AirPods because the case is open. On the contrary, I never had any issues connecting/syncing the AirPods as some other users reported, it was a simple process from what I remember. The only problems I had were with battery life.

Was scared by the reviews but so far so good!
I was worried this would be a waste of time/money since the reviews were so bad but decided to risk it as its Free Returns and I needed a replacement asap. I got this the next day so my airpods hadn't had time to die yet fully. I wonder if that's why I had no problems with pairing? Everything was seamless, as though I was using my original charging case. I followed the instructions that came with it such as charging for >15m for the first charge. The plastic/lid does feel pretty cheap, but hey, it works and it's half the price of the Apple one. It also is a bit loose of a fit (i'm assuming so it can fit both generations of airpod pros) but I put a bit of extra care when putting my airpods in and I haven't had issues with them not charging yet. If it dies/breaks within a too short period of time I'll come back and update this review, but so far it's been working great for 10 days of continuous use. Edit: This case lasted longer than my airpods did! Definitely don't waste your money on an expensive apple one and get this instead! Interestingly, when I checked the reviews using a review checker, the filtered average rating actually went up? Makes me wonder if Apple is trying to lower the rating of this product, but who knows, that is just speculation.

Functional, But Don't Expect Apple Quality
This replacement case for the AirPod Pro offers basic functionality but falls short of the quality expected from a genuine Apple product. Here's what you need to keep in mind: Pros: Does the Job: Charges AirPod Pros and offers wireless charging like the original. Bluetooth Sync: Includes the pairing sync button for easy connection with your devices. Affordable Alternative: Significantly cheaper than replacing your case directly through Apple. Cons: Build Quality Feels Cheaper: The materials and construction lack the premium feel of a genuine Apple case. May Not Fit Seamlessly: Some users report that their AirPod earbuds don't fit quite as snugly in the replacement case. No Apple Logo: Obviously not an Apple product, which might matter to some people for resale value, etc. Tip: Good if you need an immediate fix and cost is your primary concern. Be realistic; it won't feel like a new Apple case. Overall: This serves its purpose as a budget-friendly replacement but loses points on finesse. If you prioritize build quality and perfect integration with your AirPods, invest in a genuine Apple case or a higher-end third-party replacement.
