Palisade 25.6 in. x 14.8 in. Interlocking Vinyl Tile Shower and Tub Surround Kit in Wind Gust

I did the ceiling and walls of a tub shower. The tiles feel like LVT flooring and look great. The quality of the adhesive and silicone was surprising. Going over old tile was so easy and well worth the extra expense vs ripping everything out. Still pretty inexpensive, though. I waterproofed every join just in case. I can see this changing how showers are finished like LVT changed flooring. Great product.

We installed this product ourselves and it was as easy as we hoped. We watched a few YouTube videos and got started. It only took a few hours and the finished product is SO perfect. The kit includes everything you need (we bought extra silicone just in case but didn't need it). I highly recommend this product for ANYONE looking to remodel or build a new shower. The kit arrived on time, unbroken, and nicely packaged. We picked the satin nickel grey color and it's perfect. The texture of the tiles are great, the colors are nicely random so you don't get that repetitive look when it's all together, and the overall look is professional. It's easy to clean, too! This might be my favorite part of our new bathroom!

My rating of 4 meant as a caution for other potential buyers. This product is easy to work with and looks great. The caution is to know that this is largely a piece of plastic with a photograph attached to piece of plastic. When I got to the edge of my tub enclosure, I finished the edge of tile with L-channel molding, just as the palisade rep advised me to. In order to ensure a solid bond, I placed blue painters tape along the molding until the tile adhesive cured. When I attempted to remove the tape the next day, the top 2 layers ( protective layer and photo film) separated from the rigid core. It was astonishing that this happened but also to see how incredibly thin these top top two layers are. I re-attached the layers with silicone but it caused a concern about the longevity and durability of these tiles. I’ve attached photos of the section which separated. I’m staying positive about this but I will post an update if this happens again.

I took out an old acrylic tub surround and wanted something nice to replace it with. After a bit of research, I found Palisades shower tile. I bought the kit, which came with 4 boxes of 8 tiles each, the trim pieces, 3 tubes of silicone and 5 tubes of adhesive, (which was not nearly enough). I bought 2 additional tubes of adhesive and 2 of silicone. Loctite tub surround adhesive works well. I spent a few hours a day for 3 days cutting and installing it. It came out great and I love it! 2 things I'll let you know: if you have an electric tile saw, they work nicely for cutting these, and; measure carefully and take care to be sure you have the right end up or down when cutting tiles.

I was not sure what to expect with these vinyl tiles but I have done ceramic tile installs in the past and wanted something quicker and easier. This is definitely both. I tore out an old acrylic tub and surround and the drywall behind it. I used the new GoBoard tile backer board for the first time and highly recommend that product as well. The Palisades tub surround kit came with everything needed. I bought the larger kit and was able to go all the way to the ceiling and two inches beyond my 32" tub. I did the tear out and backer board/sealer in one day and then the next day was able to complete all of the tile in about 4 hours. I used a power miter saw and table saw with fine tooth carbide blades. Used a hole saw for the shower arm and tub spout holes and a jig saw for the hole for the faucet. I will have to see how it holds up but this was for my daughter's bathroom and she loves it!.

I really liked the product, and it looked great at the finish. It seems like it will work perfectly. My issue for giving 3 stars is to provide a critique for the company about what is included in the kit. For a kit that contains everything to complete the project, it doesn't do a good job. It came with 5 tubes of glue. I know I used a little more than expected because I was putting this up over existing subway tiles and I wanted to also glue the old grout lines. Following the recommendations in the instructions for gluing the boards on, I ended up needing 11 tubes of glue ( I can only suggest that maybe 3 extra were because of my grout lines. Still, it wouldn't have been enough glue by following their recommendations. Second, the kit advertised 2 pieces of each kind of trim, but once again, following the instructions for my project, I only needed the corner trim and L trim. Unfortunately, I needed a 3rd piece of L trim to complete the shower. This ended up being a huge hassle tracking down. I was finally able to order just one piece from a 3rd party website for $45 + shipping. All the options I could find from Palisade would only sell 5-packs for $125. In the end, I had to purchase more than $100 worth of supplies to complete the project and it was a huge hassle that paused my project for a few weeks for one piece of L trim. Finally, the kit ended up having plenty of left over materials that I couldn't use. I have 15 sq. ft. of boards and 2 j trims I can't use. This product would be perfect, if the kits were a little more modifiable for specific projects. I would have rather had less material and no j trim in exchange for 1 more L trim and a couple of tubes of glue. If that is not possible, it would be nice to be able to order just one more piece of L trim without as much hassle at a more reasonable price compared to purchasing a 5-pack.

I am loving my new bathroom, for new installers it came together really well and looks absolutely beautiful. Spoke with customer service and they were absolutely awesome and helpful. If you follow the directions should be an easy install. Beautiful clean finish.

I just installed the tub surround last weekend. This product is awesome!!! Easy to install, easy to cut with my chop-saw and all the glue and silicone I needed was included ( I actually had a tube of glue left over). The inside corner pieces provide a lot of margin for out-of-plumb walls. I did a 30x60 inch bathtub surround in about four hours. Looks great, easy and fast to install, now lets see how well it holds up over time.

It absolutely looks amazing when installed, we bought other adhesive as the stuff that comes in the package takes forever to set. Although this tiles are beautiful and durable they are expensive!

When I began my work, it looked like very complicate task that I would not be able to complete. However, as you can see it worked out well for me. The tiles look amazing and made my bathroom looking very clean and gorgeous. The entire set was just enough to complete all walls.
