as we requested Black rice not like shown in the picture. Mixed with black.we don't want this.

Tastes best in porridge and idli. But cooked rice was unsightly. So, for the faint hearted: soak grind ferment and use.

This is amazing rice I have ever tried, it took a bit long to cook but the way it's smells while cooking ... I had never felt this boiling rice smell in polished n any other rice. So based on it smell i can say it's authentic quality bcz that was the exect same smell when my grandparents used to do farming n cook rice during my childhood and i got that exect same boiling rice smell after long. I will recommend go for it. I will order more products from this brand. I hope they serves the same in further orders. Thank you. Hope they Maintain this quality.

When one is buying a costly and branded rice packet, it is expected that the rice is destoned or cleaned from impurities and then packed. But this packet in particular had lot of tiny stones. The lower rating is only for this impurities. I bought same black rice packets from other brands too but didnt find stone grains.Just for note, these black rice from different brands were kept in cleaned, transparent and separate containers for each brand. All tasted the same and quality seemed same.

I am someone who has diabetes so i was looking for a rice which could eat without hesitation. I really likes these rice. cook easily, has a nice flavor and digest nicely. overall a 5 star rice.
