Marriage saver 🤣
We get a lot of flying creatures in the warmer months in Scotland and the wife is not a huge fan so since we have this I get to open the patio door more often as this thing just takes care of any invaders. I was rather sceptical based on other reviews if it would work at all but I guess it's all about placement. Here close to the ceiling and works really well. It is very very loud when it does THE thing, but the kids find it funny and you can even hear it from the garden from time to time, so maybe not a device to leave running over night/near your bedroom, bud day/evening in the kitchen is perfect.

Unreliable garbage.
Lasted just under a year of normal usage. One loud bang and it stopped working just as it was needed most. I could return it under warrantee, but if ZAP IT can't be bothered to test and develop their product properly then I can't be bothered to treat it like anything else than garbage.

I- Innovate, you're diamonds.
I liked this bug zapper, and was a little bit upset when it gave up the ghost. It's compact, light and whilst the cable is short, I had a shelf set up near an extension cord. It is easy to clean, as it has a removable tray for all the carcasses of months I accumulated, and it is quiet. I really have no complaints about the product, as I think it is value for money. However, it was I- Innovate (the suppliers I purchased from) that stole the show for me.When my zapper died, I contacted I-Innovate and was thrilled with the rapid resolution. They're amazing! Thanks again!

Works well.
The media could not be loaded. After unpacking I found the front grille had been pushed in and the electric elements were too close and arcing. Both problems easily resolved and the item now performs well.Apart from the missing hanging bracket on one end ! 🙄

Stopped working after 1 day
Put it on and left the room. When I came back it was off and did not turn back on. Did not see any dead insects. Too costly to send it back

Good size/effective but shortcomings
Great size but on a surface very unstable. Wobbles if touched or knocked. I just know it will fall over soon! A stand to optionally click on the base would be a great help.Worst thing is the narrow black plastic tray to catch the flies bodies as they get zapped. You cannot move the zapper without the damn tray falling out or sliding half out. Why can’t you click/clip it in?Fix those two issues and it’s a perfect zapper. Got 4 flies last night in our new garden room after turning it on (doors then closed) whereas normally they drive you batty landing on your legs etc.

Works great!
This product is easy to use and it works great! We had a fly problem in our breakroom but I set one of these up and noticed that within a couple of minutes flies where attracted to the light. After checking the tray in a couple of hours there where over 20 dead flies on the tray. The only issue is the noise level when flies and mosquitos are being zapped other than that it's a great product and works as intended.

Solved a horrible mosquito problem
This purged the mosquitos from the room nicely. I hate them and waking up being bitten sucks. Time to get serious and fight back.

Love hearing the pow!
So far so good! I have only had the Zap It running for about 3 nights and it has done a wonderful job. I didn't realize just how many little flying irritants were getting into the house, but the satisfying electric pop/zap and the little gnat/mosquito/fruit fly carcasses are proof of their existence (or demise). There is one irritating little bugger flitting about my computer screen now that must have flew in when I last took the dog out. I am waiting to hear it get zapped. We have tried the little traps that lure them to their deaths. The score so far over the last 3 days is one for the cute little tomato-looking trap to about 13 for the Zap It. By the way, I just heard another little satisfying pop/zap and the little bugger I mentioned earlier seems to have bit the dust.

Effective fly killer
With the onset of hot weather, we are having an invasion of flies into the kitchen. Sticky strips do not appear to be useful. This fly killer works. You can hear a zap each time a fly dive into it. After two days, flies have almost disappeared from our kitchen. It is worth the cost.

This thing is a beast - 5 stars
This was about $40 on sale. Caution: The first time it snapped, it was so LOUD that I jumped. BUT, I have gotten used to it, and I even am happy I can be in the other room and hear it snap, and I smile because I know it's killed off another nasty bug. INDOOR ONLY. Put in a safe place where kids and animals don't knock over or you can also hang it. Keep away from moisture/water. I have mine set up in a corner on top of a bookshelf away from everyone and everything. This thing is so powerful it will throw small pieces of bug shrapnel around the area in front and back of the unit altho there is a catch tray for the dead bugs. When I used this in conjunction with the plug ins (see review) and the rechargeable fly swatter (see review), I eradicated about 95% of the insects in the house in about 2 days. I had an infestation of fruit gnats. I thought it was just bad housekeeping on my part, but several people said they had problems this year as well. Well worth $40 to me. 5 stars.
