Feels kinda big for short adults-at first!
Ok, I was going to return this scooter at first, feeling that it was too big for me. But being totally new to riding an electric scooter, I decided to give it some time and see how I felt after practice underfoot. So I got out there and the more I rode the more I felt relaxed on it and began to appreciate the big foot platform and controls at close proximity. I have come to appreciate it's being higher off the ground than another one that I own. The big air filled tires really offer a smooth ride when you find that you notice every crack in the road. The braking makes me feel safe because the front and rear are synchronized and no chance of crazy wipe outs. I love how easily it folds down to carry. Love the purple color too. I rode it in the dark to test the lighting and it is pretty good. It could be a more focused and stronger beam for navigating the pathway, but it was ok. I see a rear light available on the web so may go for that. There are 2 speed ranges but so far I am learning in level 1 which goes up to 9mph. I am not ready to go faster in level 2 but I am sure it won't be long. Same for the cruise control. Building up to that. It does have a throttle that lets you vary your speed with a pressure on the little thumb paddle. Reviews I have read don't mention that and for me that was important.UPDATE: I installed the $20 tailight sold on the Gotrax website. Now I am more visible from the rear while doing my night scoots! Also bought a front bag to carry stuff while I scoot. Happy "scooter chick"! 🐥

Great High End Scooter at a Lower Entry Cost !
It is a great Ebike.Quick, easy to set up, easy to use, long range .The scooter can be ridden with or without power :without power, it glides with ease and feels like a motor-less scooter. As an electric scooter, this thing is Fast and has lots of Power. I weight about 110 and my son weighs 35 pounds and we both were on it at the same time, we got it to 15 MPH and almost hit 17MPH downhill. Pros: Fast, Powerful, Long Battery Life, Cool running lights, Cool Brake Lights, Airless Tires, Comfortable Deck, Bright Headlight, Electronic Braking, and Soo Fun.It you are thinking about getting a scooter, this is the one to get.

My First E-Scooter
For a beginner I would definitely recommend this.I live in South bay so to get an idea, here are my test:If you go up San Pedro, it will drop down to 7 to 8 (speed mode 2).Down speed obviously will go as much as 15.Flat road 15.2Bumpy would be 13/8The shock I don't like it too much because it's very hard impact. The grip is pretty good however where the break line would often make sounds since it touches the wires.Definite this can be taken to work. South bay during this crisis of covid, you can use this to take a ride in Torrance. 18 and under must wear helmet though I recommend helmet anyways. Great for riding at the beaches at a decent price. The break is pretty nice and tight. I think the kickstand can be improved since it's kind on the high side (easily tipped over on elevated ground). In total, would recommend for a budgeted but does it job.

Ok for price point
I have minimal needs and this filled them. My only other escooter experience is with the rentals which operate differently. My complaints are really just suggestions to the manufacturer. Someone needs to rethink the controls. The last thing a rider should be doing while riding is taking their hand off the steering to press a button and look at the display. The auto-cruise control is a scary surprise when I forget to tell someone about it. It doesn't hold speed very well either. It'll coast to well below setting and then suddenly kick in. Breaking is frustratingly erratic. Regenerative breaking is mentioned in the product description but not once in the manual. I have no idea how, when or if it works. If I don't need to know and can't do anything that'll help it out, tell me that. All that aside, it does what I need for a short commute and I haven't killed myself yet.

Good product
I use this product just for recreation. I am a 75 year old man and live in the country with hills. I ride around my neighborhood and in a bike/walk trail in my nearest town that follows a creek and in the shade. I was surprised at the quality of this scooter for the price. The battery seems to get good mileage with hills included. I have pulling the hills at 9 mph and coasting downhill I have been up to 28 mph which is way too fast so have been riding the brake a lot. Setup was a little confusing but I won't blame that on them. Just have to read real close.

BEST THING IVE BOUGHT FOR CITY COMMUTING
IF You are into scootering, this is great. Perfect for short commutes. And just fun tooling about town and running errands. Very sturdy. Replace inflatable tires with solid!! Must have in NYC pothole land. Not superfast therefore MUCH SAFER! Fast enough at 15 mph. Powerful headlight. Great brakes and clear readout. I got the Purple one cuz Im like that. :)

Great scooter, great battery life and range!
I’ve had the Gotrax XR Ultra for about two weeks now and am very happy with it. Battery life is great and is a very sturdy scooter as I am 200lbs and the scooter is solid. It does max out at about 15.5mph on the flat and goes slowly up steep hills but does make it. Up the steepest hills by my house it will go between 9-12mph. My wife and daughter have enjoyed it as well. Too bad the price has nearly doubled. For the $350 I paid for it, it’s a great deal. For $700, not so much.

Great way to get the kids out of the house
Super easy to setup. Was a gift for my 12 year old son, who loves it. Gets him out of the house to go on adventures in the neighborhood and trips to the local Starbucks. Charges fast, good speed, lasts several hours without a charge.

The best commute scooter ever.
It had been a long time that I commuted with a simple bike. Finally found out a green and budget friendly alternative. This has been the most amazing purchase I've ever made. Especially if you want to commute within city. The city I live in is not on a plain, still the scooter easily goes uphill without any problems. Grocery shopping has never been so easy. A great alternative for a car for students who can't afford a car. The built quality is amazing. There are some fancy features which other scooters offer for a little more but aren't practical to be honest. All you need is a powerful motor and a good battery which this scooter has. The LG battery makes a huge difference. The depletion rate is minimum for maximum power. I've personally taken this on bike trails too and the promised range was just achieved easily. I hope it remains the same after a few months of use too. The tires are good quality, traction is good. Suspension would've been great but doesn't make a huge difference still. Hat's off the the company for make it a hardware beast for the price range. Would suggest everyone to get one, for use or just for fun. You won't regret rge purchase. It looks cool aswell.

YMMV mine was 18km or 11m
So I charge it fully, took it in Toronto beaches and greek village alot of highs and lows there.Im 180 lbs which is not skinny or normal im abit above i knowdriving is easy and nicehandling bumps is not as smooth as bicycles, sometimes a big bump will make you unbalanced and sadly you find those in Toronto streets. works well in bike lanescharge is truly just 4 hours, but good luck securing this, for that i use 2 items https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B085Y4F7HQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01N67GAGC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1The small one will go as ring and you will use the long one to hook on the lock ring.Meh its okay I just wish it was really 15 miles,Also its okay if you see battery drops while you ride even if it was full charge, like for example if you just fully charge it and drive on the upper lane it will show low battery, to see the actual battery just stop and it will reflect. My advice is your heading to places where you cant recharge or has alot of highs or no dedicated lanes, dont get it . however this works kinda as travel supplement like it can be easily folded and you can go to subway with it and it wont take any space between ur legs and then you can use it to continue ur travel. much easier than folding bike. Also if battery runs out you wont be really able to scoot without it, but its very easily movable. I dont regret it it see it working for me to get grocery items and finish tasks. I wish it had key or something cause its not really lock proof, you need to usually go inside where you going and drop it inside.

Great product, in quality and value.
Way better quality than I was expecting tbh. Took me to the full 15 mph without any effort. Got to and from work using only one bar of battery. Great bang for your buck. The only downside to this scooter is the lack of suspension, with just a bit of suspension I feel like this scooter would be pretty unbeatable.

Meilleure trotinnette sur le marché
Belle achat.
