This pump helped me to repair a table fountain I found broken in a thrift store. It's surprisingly low-noise, reliable, and has been running fairly well on tap water for a few weeks (I didn't bother with distilled -- the pump is cheap enough that if I can't clean it by running some vinegar through it, I'll just replace it).It only has to push water up about four inches in the fountain I installed it in, but I have it on a low setting and it's still pushing very strong so your-mileage-may-vary. I would anticipate it could cover six or seven inches without too much fuss on a higher setting, maybe more.

I needed this for an indoor fountain project. Worked out fantastic. Just the right size for a smaller type of fountain

Bought it in August 2017 to replace the I had for a very small tabletop water fountain, went to clean out the fountain one day, plugged it back in and it died.....it's only Oct. 2017....sigh......
