This tool box costs more than other trailer tongue boxes, but after reading reviews I decided to pay the extra for the Buyers box. It's solid. I had read how flimsy and light duty other tool boxes were, and this is a sturdy box. The locking mechanism is very smooth as well.

Great product! POOR PACKAGING... Multiple scratches and dents do to absolutely NO protection in the box.. You would think a $320 item would be packaged a lot better than it is.. And not worth sending it back, so I guess I just have to live with it..

Sturdy. Well built. Good seals. For a smaller RV where you are worried about Tongue weight, just enough space for Leveling Blocks and a few assorted tools. Used round u-bolts (separate item, this does not come with attaching hardware) to attach to trailer.

Pricey but well built and suited my purposes. I like that it has a locking mechanism. Latch can be adjusted so that it doesn't rattle. There is preinstalled weather stripping. I mounted it to a cargo carrier by drilling holes in the bottom and using large washers/nuts with the bolts coming up through from below. So far so good.

I cant believe how they just wrap these in cardboard and ship them out. Ordered 2 and both were damaged. 1 steel, 1 aluminum. I have purchased other tool boxes from other brands. They at least package them with foam and plastic to surround the box ESPECIALLY THE CORNERS. Not the Buyers. This is a great box and built VERY well just not to be rolled down a parking lot on delivery with no packaging. Try to buy these from a trailer dealer. There's no way they'll survive shipping.
