Cruelty free, Vegan soap in bulk....saves so many smaller plastic containers and money !! What's not to love? I found my new soaps for everything from this brand...dish soap, shampoo, hand soap, body wash. I don't have to keep buying tiny soap bottles all the the time and wasting money, thank you !

Excellent dish soap. Suds up nicely, washes up clean, no residue. Comparable to Meyer's in efficacy and consistency. The scent is... ok. I wouldn't call it "basil" per se, more a light flowery perfume. I don't love it, honestly, and will probably pick up the unscented version next time. But the value is excellent and is way way better than the powdered dish soap I recently tried (in an effort to further reduce my carbon footprint) which left a slimy residue.

I like everything about this dish soap. It cleans well and has a very faint and pleasing smell. The only thing I’m having trouble with is transferring it to my squeeze bottles. I have to use a funnel and it seems to get everywhere. I feel like I’m wasting some every time. It’s very thick so I try to fill my bottles the same time I’m ready to do dishes. That way the soap on the funnel isn’t lost.I have my husband hold the funnel so the bottles don’t tip.It’s a bit of a pain but worth it.

Edit: I’m changing my review, upgrading from 1 star to 3 star. Although I still do not like the smell of the basil dish soap, it works well cleaning the dishes. It cuts grease and washes off thoroughly leaving dishes clean and spot free. I did buy the unscented and will dilute the basil soap.Original review: I thought the basil would smell fresh and clean. When I first opened the bottle I thought maybe they sent me the shampoo instead of the dish soap. It smells like cheap fragranced shampoo. I hate it. It seemed to do well at washing the dishes, but my hands feel like sandpaper afterward.

I really wanted to like this product as I have been looking for a quality dish soap without all the nasty ingredients yet works well for a while. This soap works well but it congeals and I can barely get it to come out of my soap dispenser. (It’s not the soap dispenser as I have tried many different soaps with this specific dispenser and never had a problem, it’s an OXO brand dispenser.) It foams good, washes grease clean and smells nice but because it gets too thick I will not be buying it again, unfortunately.
