I bought this soft foam cervical collar to help with nighttime neck pain, and it’s been surprisingly effective. The foam is firm enough to keep my neck aligned but still comfortable enough to sleep in without feeling restricted. The adjustable strap makes it easy to get the right fit, and it doesn’t dig into my skin or cause sweating. After a few nights, I noticed less stiffness in the morning and fewer “cricks” when I wake up. If you’re dealing with neck strain, poor sleep posture, or just need gentle support, this brace is a solid choice.

This offered great support after my post-cervical fusion. I was happy to transition out of the hard collar into this one. I like that it's easily adjustable, so the size is perfect, and the velcro is strong enough to keep it secure. It can be hard wearing it sometimes in the summertime because it is thick and makes you warm/sweaty in the neck area. It's not too thick or too thin. I would recommend this for someone recovering from spinal surgery or just looking for some neck support.

This is a decent product and a good price. I bought it to replace our old soft collar which was labelled as 3.5 inches. This was too wide and kept sliding up over the chin! Our original had a more contoured shaped with a slight cut out in the front and tapered towards the back.

Let’s be real honest here, this thing is not comfortable specifically in a lying down position(despite saying it’s for sleeping) I apparently have a much different opinion on what is considered soft foam because this thing does not seems soft and despite getting the smallest size, it feels like it pushes up on my jaw too much and depsite having it at as loose as possible, it still feels suffocating(May be a personal thing to get used to). I can only imagine how hot it will be at night. I have hyper mobility issues in my neck and because of this I’ve suffered several injuries. I often wake up in the night with my head bent all the way back and neck killing me. I wanted to get this as a cheap option just to prevent this from happening, but at this point I’m thinking of returning and getting a slightly more expensive one that’s actually going to be soft and breathable while keeping my head from rolling back. I will probably still give this a try tonight but definitely regretting thinking I could just grab a cheap thing to help me sleep. Allllll of that being said, it is a bit more comfortable in a seated position and would probably be a good cheap option for daytime use.

This works exactly as described, although mine did not come with the promised, removable, washable cover. I do not understand the Amazon comment that it gets from customers, "Frequently returned due to loose fit." There are 3 sizes and clear instructions about the range of lengths of each one of these 3 sizes. So, all you have to do is measure your neck with a tape measure to see which one you need to order. And the velcro closure allows a range of adjustments to fit your neck, once you put it on. Interestingly, I first bought one of these from a local medical/surgical supply store. It was poorly made and fit badly, in comparison with this Amazon one and it cost TWICE the price of this one. This is a bargain.

This collar does not prevent me from moving my neck AT ALL. I can turn in every direction, and bend significantly downwards and backwards and side to side. The notches cut for the shoulders are too close together and neither of them reach my shoulders, and I am not a large man. Smaller than average in fact. The foam also is not soft. The velcro strap hardly touches the rough side to fasten it; the rough patch is far too small and I cannot wrap it as closely as I'd like around my neck even if it DID work. I have tried every tightness and every angle, I've tried it backwards, sideways, and nothing works-- I can move far too much. The ONE thing it does is STOPS you from breathing deeply or god forbid swallowing from pressing too hard on the Adam's apple. How am I supposed to use the thing! Can move with it tight but can't even breathe with it loose. Total piece of garbage.

Noone likes wearing these. This one wasn't so bad. Instead of just round foam it has a little round out for your chin to sit. With a bad neck and needing a little support sometimes. This is my go to.

Recently, I have told that I have some herniated disc semi neck and my doctor recommended that I use one of these cervical collars when I’m playing my games or on Amazon or even sleeping. I feel that this is very nice and soft and the perfect thickness. It gives my neck excellent support with a little bit of give here and there so it’s not really for whiplash. It’s adjustable with Velcro and it’s breathable so it’s not going to sweat your neck. I received mine in a size medium, and the depth of the collar is 2.5 inches. My neck is 13.5 inches around so the medium fits absolutely perfect perfectly.
