Best stripper ever.
I was able to strip paint off couple rooms worth of wood trim without opening all the windows. No smell and works quickly.

Great product!
After the initial use of Dumond"s it has been the only stripper I use. Low toxicity, VOC and safe to use indoors. Using their film or something similar increases the effect of the paint remover. Cleanup is simple with water and detergent. The product does a great job on the antique woodwork I restore.

Deck project
They need to tell you NOT to put it on in the sun. The sun dries it out and it does not work as well. Works best when in the shade and can leave it on for at least 3 hours. I have a 10 x 10 deck and needed 1 1/2 gallons.

Works so well
I'm stripping my fireplace. I knew that this wasn't going to be an easy task, and it's not. But the ease of putting this on is great. Getting it back off 12 hrs later has nothing to do with this product, it's the sponging and scraping. If you have to strip paint off something, I highly recommend this product - and wish you luck. I have more muscles now than I had before I started.

Meh!
I saw this product on a DIY program and the contractor (not a salesman) had nothing but positive things to say about the stuff. It did apply nicely and didn't smell bad, both points being very positive. Our window sashes had 6 layers of paint (1 acrylic latex and 5 layers of oil-based high gloss), so perhaps my expectations were a bit too high. In most of the areas, it bubbled up the acrylic layer pretty quickly (about 3-4 hours), but as far as removal goes, it still ended up being a chore and I probably would have been just as well off just hitting things with a 60 or 80 grit sandpaper, which is what I did yesterday and today after 8 days of scraping (1 medium and 2 small windows). Would I buy again... probably not.

Advanced paint remover
Attempted Remove 3 layers of paint from driveway and sidewalk Did Not work. Very frustrating. It was applied heavy. Kept wet under plastic for over 48 hours. Lots of hard scraping to cone off. Comes off very poorly. Do Not recommend this product at all.

Brick Paint Removal
We are in the midst of refurbishing our dated fireplace in a 1900s house. Around the fireplace is a very rough textured brick. We made the decision to paint the brick and install a gas insert. Our local hardware store screwed up our high temp paint request, only to be revealed after we did the initial 3hr break in on the new insert. The paint needed to be removed so toxic fumes weren't filling our house. After a ton of research, we landed with Smart Strip. I was VERY skeptical but it works extremely well. I recommend getting the paper with it and let it sit for 24hrs. There is ZERO smell which was top of the list for us. With some good old fashion scraping, nearly all of the paint is removed. I also used a wire brush in a cordless drill which also removed a ton! We followed up with wash using TSP(got it at Lowes) and we were extremely pleased with the results. We are cladding the brick with granite slabs to incapsulate any remaining paint we couldn't get. Overall, 5 stars.

The best in the US
This is the best - better than citrus products. Similar to a product available in the UK but not here. Odor is also low. I will never use the orange stuff again.
