Amos McGee Misses the Bus

The ten year wait for the companion to the original Amos was worth it! This is a beautiful follow up with the same Amazing artwork and a fun new heartwarming story. I’m glad to get an update to what Amos has been up to this whole time! :)

The book is of ordinary good quality paper and weight. Very fine illustrations that little kids look at carefully. The story is easy to "get" but still interesting to the little ones. The story is warm and relaxing.Very happy i gave this book as a gift.

This is a delightful children’s story that, like their original Amos McGee title, is a feel good story for even the youngest readers. The illustrations are beautiful, and there are subtle nods to other children’s literature (like the red balloon found in Goodnight Moon and Goodnight Gorilla). It really is just a beautiful book.

We LOVED the first Amos McGee and this book is a perfect follow up, my daughter has asked for this numerous times since we purchased, sometimes JUST after reading the first Amos McGee, they are perfect together (A Sick Day for Amos McGee) all our zoo friends are back!
