The Bond: How to Fix Your Falling-Down World

CURRENT and SPOT-ON
There has been remarkable new study, research and experimentation taking place over the last thirty years by serious and highly respected scientists all around the world. This work is now revealing how cutting edge new discoveries in quantum physics and parapsychology are beginning to transform and reshape our understanding of human consciousness. Lynne McTaggart has been probing at the heart of this new science, reporting and informing us of the incredible, paradigm-shifting potentials for more than two decades. "The Bond" is a fascinating interpretation of the results of some of this new research and its potential to create a better world. Bringing us up to date on progress that has been made since her best-selling 2003 book "The Field," Lynne has compiled the results from a number of recent studies and synthesized it into a growing consensus which indicates that the life force (consciousness) of all living things are inter-related (bonded) and impact each other in a finite and scientifically verifiable capacity. While many of those among the Establishment prefer to ignore or nit-pic this established fact, the evidence is overwhelming. This book belongs in the library of all open-minded individuals who are interested in raising the level of human evolution. Intelligent Intervention

Are we all connected?
The book is very well written and very thorough. It presents a lot of scientific evidence. I recommended the book to a few friends. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that those readers who are interested in presented ideas do not need that much proof and those who oppose the Bond theory would not listen to that proof anyway.

The Generous Genius of Lynne McTaggert
I was immediately struck by the premise of this engaging topic and how McTaggert gives a plethora of scientific studies that prove her point: we are all connected and that giving, the idea and action of it, has a wonderful effect on the world, inner and outer. Because I am a teacher, I appreciate the significant amount of hard science that she uses to validate areas that are hard to measure. For me this book is a fun read and I admire how much historical information went into framing this important spiritual scholarship. Learning about neurons of the brain for example and how they respond to actually looking at an act of hurt or of kindness lends much to how all of us as people can engage our families, friends, and communities into more compassionate living. With our lives being intertwined we can individually apply some of McTaggert's suggestions to make our time on Earth better and certainly more useful. My one regret about getting The Bond on kindle, which I adore, is that the author cannot sign my book.

The Bond
I knew when I purchased this title it might be hard to read. Good information is compiled from other sources with references in text of who said what and when, which makes me believe she has no thoughts of her own.Giving credit to all sources in text, really does make it hard to read, except maybe to an academic who likes to see their name in print. Also, it appears to have more then enough words to get the point across, almost as if she is writing to fill pages.

A star-chart toward home!
Ms. McTaggart once again resolves to reaffirm with vigor why she is my favorite scientistic (my new word) reporter. As she set the bar so incredibly high with "The Field" and replicated her trenchant powers of perception and discernment with "The Intention Experiment," I couldn't help but feel a little apprehensive about "The Bond" - could Lynne hit the trifecta? Well, can you say three-peat?? !!This work clearly, unapologetically and expertly refutes the modern day aphorism propounded by Michael Douglas' character - Gordon Gekko- in the movie "Wall Street" that "greed is good." Employing data from a multitude of studies/sources and historical as well as modern day accounts combined with a penetrating style of prose, the author has very adeptly reduced greed to what it really is: malignancy! Malignancy, plain and simple. McTaggert has offered for our consideration the possibility (well - near certainty actually) that humanity's dark night of the soul that has lasted for millennia can and will end when we decide to do/be/act the way we are hard- wired to, that is: generously, fearlessly, empathetically, synergistically. Perhaps the "space between us" is where life lives?! Great read, 5 starts - gladly!

Inspirational.
Clear and succinct, Lynne Mc Taggart’s writing speaks to the heart in hope and possibilities. She gives voice to what we know instinctively and affirms those values of kindness and giving which joins us together as community. Reading of the stories of how individuals became change agents in their communities provides food for thought of how I might serve others in my locality. I will also use this book as a template to share these insights with others to create the Bond. Very motivating.

The Bond
This book is very interesting and detailed. It is not a quick or light read as it is very dense. Well researched and clearly presented. I enjoyed it.

A World Changing Book!!!
After Interviewing Lynn McTaggart for our Inspire Nation Show, I can say she is one of the most important investigative writers of our time, and that this is one of the most important books today. The Bond steps way out of the traditional, YOU CAN DO IT, paradigm, or the I win, you lose world, and shows us WITH SCIENCE, why we're all in this together, AND how by helping each other we can powerfully help ourselves. The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe is her seminal work, helping build the scientific background for her future books, and is a must-read to understand our world today. The Bond takes things one step further, helping us put this science into practice, in a way that changes our lives, and those around us. I cannot recommend this book enough, and I am now putting the advice in this book into daily practice!

Scientifically Based
I love science based books like this. As humans we need to understand that we are here to unite and work together in our healing, and our journey. This book really illustrates through science how and why this is. I felt inspired as I read this book, so much so that I created my own group of people to discuss the book and the principles that are offered here. All of Lynn McT's books are excellent.

A well researched reminder of interconnectedness
What prolific account of research findings that shed light on the nature of the human connection. Despite the many experiments referred to in the book, the masterful narrative style engaged me from the beginning. I particularly enjoyed the different researches that help transcend the existing paradigm of againstness and separateness. The I win-you lose mentality that is foundational to the imperant extractive economies, and exclusive social ordering has generated wealth at the cost of health, well-being, and resource depletion. Becoming aware of the bond that connects the web of dynamic interrelations helps restore hope in the human race that is marching steadily to its extinction if it fails to wake up and course correct. A gem of a book that offers a new answer to the old human questions of who we are and how to live life.

Five stars are too less. It is just fantastic!
I read almost every book about consciuosness, reality, mental power. I read Deepak Chopra, Eric Pearl, Joe Dispenza, Debbie Ford and many other well known writers, on this matter. Then I read The Intention Experiment, The Field and The Bond. I can now understand how things work so more easily.Lynne, I thank you so much for having spent so much time researching and collecting all the informations you needed for your books, and for sharing your knowledge with us. The Bond is a masterpiece and is definitely my favourite one!Thumbs up!
