I used this as a conventional draught excluder to cover a very large gap around the front door, which if you look at the images is not actually what it is designed for.My only complaint is that due to the way it is packed it has creases every few inches all the way along.It only has adhesive on one edge of the backing so I used high adhesion double sided tape 30mm wide to fix it in place.Just the job, thoroughly recommended,

I was apprehensive before ordering - as it ‘looked’ like the part that slides in to the original groove was fairly large - but on arrival I found that it easily pushed in where the old one was removed. Very easy to trim and fit.

The glue wasn’t strong enough and I had to use double sided tape to re attach seems to be holding ok now , I like the thickness and it was great as my window has warped a bit and left a gap so it’s improved it loads

2nd review. I bought this firstly in late August and although not happy with the length given as it only did one half of the window was happy with the adhesiveness so bought a second roll. But and a big But, this roll is awful because the adhesive is just not strong enough on this roll, it was on the first roll. So once again very disappointed but for different reasons. Will not be buying again cannot take the risk of the next batch being useless. Cannot return as had already cut to size before removing protection strip and trying desperately to get it to stick.

I just put it today. It was very easy to use and it seems like it stops the wind and noise. But i will update my comment if it will be anything wrong

This has only limited use eg filling a continuous gap along the length of a badly fitting PVC door or window. Not much use for general draught proofing around house or shed due to overly complicated structure- an adhesive strip alongside a hump which could act as a "hinge" followed by a straight strip which according to the diagrams, fits into said door gap. Hopefully you are not trying to draught proof doors because you will be heftily out of pocket as 118 inches will not seal an average sized door which has a perimeter of around 210 inches or so. Half a door for 10 quid? Definitely not worth it. Go for the straightforward D shaped foam strips at £6 for 10m. Not the most hi tech or sophisticated but they work at a reasonable price and you will get a couple of doors worth out of them. Can't understand how this product got an average 4 star review. Would have returned but had cut up strips only to find they were not much use.

This is just what I needed to finish off sealing the front door. Wish though they would do a longer strip to do top to bottom without a cut. The hinge side is passable but lock side I'm not happy with. The join is slap in the middle of door handle and lock and it opens the seal when shut and seal slides down. I'd have given 5* but for that.
