I'm a beginner skater and I was looking for comfortable steady skates. After researching several brands, I bought the top 4 I thought would work for me without breaking the bank. I got these Papaison $60, Roller derby Cruz $62, Candy girl $70, Tuosamtin $110. So far, Papaison takes the number 1 pick. Most comfortable and best rolling feel. I like the quality as well. They have all around padding that wraps around the ankle. The adjustable toe stopper is also a plus because i can adjust them to where i want them. They fit true to size, order half size down. If you wear size 8.5 get an 8. Overal, they look very chic and classy, perfect fit. I love them. Second choice are the Candy girl also very comfortable. They are made of soft sued that mould to your feet as you break them in. Third are the Tuosamtin. They are comfortable but i do not like how they roll. They also feel bulky. Roller derby Cruz have good esthetics but they are not comfortable. They are so hard and no cushion on the inside. The tongue digs into your ankle. They hurt my feet just trying them on. For beginners, I recommend the Papaison. Best skates, you will not go wrong with these. They are also the best bang for your bucks. I hope this helps someone trying to find good skates.

These feel so good! I use to skate so much as a teenager, and I actually still got it lol a little ! These are super fun and sturdy! I wear a 9 and got a 8US, perfect fit! Not too tight not too loose !

I bought these to learn how to skate, they are very comfortable. They have a strong tongue and backing, break in easily, have a removable toe-stop, and hybrid feeling wheels. These skates do not come with a tool for adjustments so be aware of that. You have to tie the laces yourself which did not surprise me and you can pay for a warranty which is nice. Its been good learning it is still very tricky for me, if you're planning on skating outdoors it might be a good idea to get outdoor wheels. These wheels do the job but I get tricked up on tiny pebbles in the road.Overall review, I love these and I can't wait to get good at skating! Do buy skater adjustment's tool though.

Our area started offering family skate night so needed to get in on the action. Looked at cheaper skates but they looked cheaper and reviews complained of lack of comfort. Good reviews about comfort led me to these. Good choice. They are comfortable. Sturdy. Pretty. Awesome color of green. It’s not the skates fault I have no muscle memory from skating as a kid. They allow me to safely ( as safe as possible) work my way around the rink and hopefully improve my skills over time.

My kids are the age where we are invited to birthday parties at the roller rink often enough I was tired of wearing rental skates and had long outgrown my childhood skates and blades. These fit well out of the box. They roll well. If you are inexperienced, you may want to ask someone at the rink to help you tighten the nuts to slow down your skates. I can see how people that haven’t skated in years could end up on their butts in these. I’m looking forward to breaking in the ankle area more as I wear them more. I had less foot pain than in the rental ones and think these will make a huge difference after they get broken in a bit more.

Very comfortable, smooth, and affordable!

I have gone through several pair of skates. These are by far the most comfortable and durable skates. They are my favorite and I would not buy another brand.
