One of those MSI s best laptops
Like it a lot, 2k screen with very nice to the touch. Haven't checked how long the battery lasts but defenetly enough for a day, especially if you turn brightness a bit down. Finally type C chagrin. One charger for all devices, you can use charger in a box to charge any other device on type C too.Maybe touch pad could be bigger but thx to how wide it is, its enough for my use. Not sure if this laptop will fit everyone but definitely made me happy, plus this is one of the best MSI non gaming laptop as this model "Flip EVO" is targeting battery life instead of rocking gaming performance. And last I very like how slim bezels made this 16 inch laptop smaller than 15,6 inch with big bezels.Update week after:there is only 1 SSD M.2 slot, so no option to add more, have to replace original one. Btw easy to take a part if you into that in a future

Great 2 in 1 laptop
Great performance, I'm a software engineer and my IDE is running smoothly ( Visual studio ).When on my desktop I can plug the laptop to my external GPU ( 3080 RTX ) and I still have good performances, I guess the CPU is fast enough to not do bottleneck.Overall a solid 2 in 1 laptop, with good performance and cooling.

Excellent laptop with the right power and cooling tweaks
This laptop has a very nice screen and overall build quality. BUT it gets EXTREMELY HOT when gaming. I have the model with the 4060 GPU. You'll want to install Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility and use the settings in the pictures as a starting point for tuning the laptop's TDP. Then also use MSI Center and set User Scenario to AI, enable Gaming Mode and add your games to it. Then set Extreme Performance Fan Speed to Advanced with the settings in the picture attached to this review. Enable both Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and MSI Center to start at Windows startup. The settings shown in the screenshots were tested while playing Bulder's Gate 3 with DLSS set to quality and 40 FPS limit. All other settings in BG3 were maxed out except anti-aliasing was disabled. With these settings I saw no performance loss in Geekbench 6 either (add Geekbench to Gaming Mode); ~2340 single core, ~10,900 multi core. Temps for both the CPU and GPU stayed between 140 to 160 Fahrenheit while gaming. I also use a laptop cooler but that doesn't seem to make much of a difference as long as the laptop's intake and exhaust aren't blocked.I took off one star as I shouldn't have had to figure this out.Additional power/heat control option:ThrottleStop is another utility you can use to limit the TDP. Attached are pictures of the settings used to keep the laptop much cooler while gaming, ~150F. Geekbench scores with these TDP settings are; single core ~2460 and multi ~11,100.

Good performance quality is lack lutster
I purchased this over six months ago i am a student so its in my backpack which could be my issues, performance wise i have had no issues playing games running engineering software, but there are wear lines under the keyboard, the plastic is now white and on the screen there are wear marks. i also have now seen a crack in the black bar under the screen which again will be could be on me.

Turn off the 3050 to double the battery life
I have device manager pinned to taskbar, so I can turn it on and off depending on my needs. Ok for gaming, but you get horrible keyboard input lag unless you limit the fps to calm down ur CPU a bit. Excellent for school.

Amazing!
The laptop also has stylus support with palm resistant, very nice feature for college note taking apps like OneNote. It's very quiet and powerful.

Work and small gaming
I bought this laptop because I needed a light work laptop to run a VM off of and gaming a bit on down time. This is not the best gaming device, but you can play decent amount of titles on low settings. Fans not loud, but cooling and battery life is not the best.
