Paint it Black and it'll do.
For all those looking for a replacement oil can for your expensive and beautifully-wrought Tiki Torch holders that reveal the can, these will have to do.I, like many of you, bought the fancy iron-work torch holders that reveal much of the can back the golden years of about five years ago (2013-ish).(2-3/4 in Diameter x 5-5/8 in Tall - Dark Bronze Finish).I, like you, have experienced the bottoms of my bronze-finished oil cans rusting out and leaking.I, like you, happily went to Amazon to purchase a replacement, only to have my hopes crushed after discovering replacement cans are not available. So, this item is the best you’re going to get. It is a alf-inch shorter and quarter-inch more narrow than our beloved original cans. However, these do still fit in my holder; the rim of my holder still holds up the circumference of this narrower lid. Please note, the lids of the two types of cans are NOT interchangeable. The bigger problem is the ridiculous, bonkers-level white writing over the entire surface of the can which includes precautions, dangers and, I believe, a five-paragraph incantation to summons a fire demon? Either way, this graffiti’d can is real ugly in my decorative iron-work holder. Why do all replacement cans now have writing all over them? I can only imagine some slithering lawyer realized "Hey! Somebody may think this is a cocktail and DRINK THE OIL! Clients may get hurt! Let's make things real complicated and cater to simpletons by writing all sorts of warnings on the can, thereby defiling the backyard oasis that today’s working man feels compelled to create in order to hide from the world and forget that idiocy like this exists!”There is a work-around though. Not unlike The Rolling Stones - and as with many aspects of my life - I had to paint it black. In conclusion, this can is the only replacement I could find. I can't comment yet on if it’s durable or bursts into flames upon initial ignition or not because I'm still waiting for the black paint to dry. After spending my precious time forced to do a painting project tonight, I might as well wait for my cold, black heart to dry as well.

Great little canisters to replace the original substandard ones...
These have been a torch saver for sure. The original canisters were so thin that the liquid ate through the bottom of the canister. I was so irritated because we hadn’t had them for that long, & I assumed I’d just have to replace the whole tiki torch with a new set- until I saw these. They are much sturdier, but fit perfectly in the standard bamboo style torch. They have a little metal snuffer attached which is handy, and have already outlasted the original canisters that came with the torches. Plus I didn’t have to dig the old ones up & try to stick a new set in the ground- which wasn’t an easy task the first time- so I wasn’t anxious to have to repeat it. I would buy these again-

Bargain at $2.88
This item is a decent deal at $2.88 per unit. I'd have to drive 15 miles to get these at that price and then I'd have to buy a 3 pack for less (like $6.99 for a 3 pack) These last around a year without taking them inside or cleaning them at all they start to rust out. I'd rather buy 1 a year (another one lasted almost 3 years) That's a bargain!

Why pay more?
Yes, I know, this is supposed to go inside of a TIKI torch that is then thrust into the ground. Trouble is that the ground at many campsites isn't all that accommodating -- sometimes it's as hard as rock. Have used the Lamplight TIKI by placing it inside of a metal one pound coffee can and then just setting it on a picnic table, or even the ground. Of course you'll want to consider safety when doing this, but it works for me.

Strong and durable!
I thought it was a little crazy that the name brand canister costs double what the generic ones cost at the hardware store. And, I was wrong. The generic ones are made out of cheap metal that bends eventually tears when you try to unscrew it. I'm of average build and I could easily crush the generic one with 1 hand. The genuine Tiki branded one, on the other hand, is made out of solid metal that can't be crushed and is easy to unscrew.
