Needed this for my bakery and works great

The unit performs well overall and feels solidly built, but unfortunately, the plastic knob used to control the flame intensity stripped on first use. A metal knob would’ve been a much better choice. Now I have to rely on a wrench to adjust the flame height, which really detracts from the convenience.

Parts do not align. The nut ends of the brass valve are not in line with the slots of the control panel housing. On one side it fits correctly and on the other side it’s off so it doesn’t not fit into the slots. This in turn does not allow the valve to sit properly, or directly, into position and therefore there’s a gap between the face of the control panel and the chrome ring that tightens the valve to the control panel. This does not allow you to tighten the chrome ring all the way flat to the panel. Also, the one of the ends of the igniter wire is incorrect and not a female plug end, but a round end for a bolt or post attachment. Both should be female plugs ends that fit into the male plugs on the igniter. I stand corrected on one of the issues I pointed out, and that was the ends of the two wire leads to the ignitor switch which appeared to be one female end and one round end meant for a bolt or screw attachment. Apparently the round attachment is actually for the ground at the ignitor where it attaches to the burner grill. I have raised the review to two stars because there is still an issue aligning the valve to the control face plat, and instructions are not very clear. Including those for the wiring.

Easy to install, igniter works well with no adjustments, hose to propane could be a foot longer, and the mounting the control panel requires some do it yourself experience and power tools. Overall happy and nice kit.

I wanted to use with Natural Gas but you would need a separate NG regulator which I bought at Home Depot. Product im sure works fine and fire ring seems well made….. but if you have NG as fuel you will need to spend @ another $90 for a NG regulator and hose/ fittings Easy return so bot a problem

Check valve was broken

Works good however the gas’s line is not nearly long enough to do anything with u less you are setting your propane tank literally right next to your pit. So has to go out and hunt down longer line and spend more money!
