Blue Sea Systems 6006 m-Series Battery Switch ON/OFF with Knob, Red

This switch works great and is very high quality. I mounted this on the outside of an over-sized NOCO battery box with divider to separate the switch from the battery. Does exactly what I needed. Subsequently, I mounted a second NOCO box to hold dump equipment and help partially hide the switch from roaming eyes.

High quality and easy to use

I bought two of these, they work well with very little insertion loss (voltage drop) under higher loads. Dropped a star, because of no included hardware, and confusing/not great mounting system, and zero mounting instructions. At least the cheap copy comes with a set of screws to hold it together.

That's right, it's a very sturdy switch but it DOESN'T COME WITH THE SCREWS that close and mount the box to your vehicle (or boat). YOU WILL NEED four #10-32 x 3" long round head machine screws, and four #10-32 hex nuts (these will fit in the 3/8" hex recesses in the lower case. If you can't find the #10-32 screws you can also use #10-24.The 3" length screws will protrude about 11/16" beyond the case. I drilled matching holes in the fuse box cover of my truck and attached the battery switch with 4 more nuts and lockwashers. Use a different length screw if you need another mounting solution. Hope this info helps.

5 stars due to great customer service and worth the money over doodoo alternatives, depending on your application. In order to avoid stacking battery terminal wires, I need to take advantage of the feature to stack the input side of this switch, which works great but is cramped for two 6 awg.
