Do you mount your iPad in the plane and get occasionally blinded by the 100,000 lumens of the sun beaming back at you from your iPad screen? Then this product is for you! This was a welcome addition to my iPad for my flying, and has lasted for multiple years. No air bubbles, very easy to install. Fit was perfect and I love how your finger just glides along the surface of the screen. I've never had any issues with the screen's responsiveness.

I seldom provide ratings but this product deserves five stars. I was somewhat hesitant about the hinge installation but it worked just fine. When I completed the hinge installation there were lots of bubbles and my initial reaction was OMG. But only two of the bubbles were the result of dust. The bubbles that are not the result of dust are easily removed by simply pushing them to the side. The easiest method for me is to put a credit card in a cloth so you get good traction.The two dust bubbles which were relatively small did not impact the viewing area and initially I thought I would just leave well enough alone. But then I thought: nothing ventured nothing gained, so I tried using the methodology where you added the hinge lifter to lift the screen and remove the dust. I lifted the screen, and removed the dust particles and then returned the screen to its original position. On my two dust bubbles it worked perfectly so now I have a screen that fits perfectly without any bubbles. The most important thing of course is taking your time to make sure that the dust is removed from the screen in the first instance. The screen comes with written installation instructions but I recommend that you watch the installation video which is on the page where you originally ordered the product and then take your time with the installation.

Perfect for my iPad Mini 6! For this 72-year old geezer, the screen reduces the glare beautifully. Makes reading and writing (with my Apple Pencil 2) joyful. My experience is that the colors remain wonderful when viewing video content. I’m also a huge ice hockey fan, and the screen has reduced the glare from the ice significantly. So it has made watching a hockey game so much better for me. Your experience may differ, but I am “pleased as punch” with this product! I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the weak magnets. I haven’t experienced this at all. In fact, I’m so happy with this screen that I purchased one for my iPad Pro 12.9” (2018). Here, too, the magnets work fine. Also, for the iPad Pro 12.9”, the Zugu Case doesn’t cause any issues: the screen fits perfectly. (I did not get a Zugu Case for the Mini.) Ladies and gentlemen, for this old-timer, this product easily gets 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Important context: I bought the iCarez protector solely because the matte finish provides a great surface for drawing and sketching with an Apple Pencil, not for screen protection. I've tried a number of different brands, some of which were endorsed by popular graphic designers and artists. But I found this brand to be the absolute best. For one, you can't beat the price. It's definitely the best value around. It also holds up very well, with no scratching or smudging. A lot depends on personal preference, but for me the feel of the matte surface against the pencil is ideal with just enough resistance to match the feel of writing on paper and not on slippery glass. You do get some diffusion of the screen, so the picture quality suffers a tiny bit. Unfortunately, that's a side effect for all matte protectors and I found that to be the case for every protector I tried. But for those of us that do more writing on an iPad than viewing, iCarez products are an absolute winner. Highly recommend.
