There are several of these out there at a higher price but I can tell you this is just as good a quality if not better. It's solid and sturdy, easy to put together and adjust. The drawer space was perfect for my needs. I do Paint by Numbers and all the paints, instructions and my roll of paint brushes fit nicely inside. This will accommodate up to a 16x20 canvas, which happens to be the size I was painting in the photo. It holds the canvas snug when adjusted properly. There are 3 adjustments, with 2 being behind the lower lid and one on top that holds the canvas in place. This has taken a lot of strain off my neck from painting with my canvas flat on a table. It did take me a little bit to get used to painting at a different angle but I found turning my painting vertically and horizontally to the places I was working on helped a lot. It's also a plus having everything nice, neat, and tucked away when I'm not using it. Definitely a great buy.

Light weight but well constructed and sturdy, no tendency to tip over, excellent for drawing or painting while seated. Nice wide lip on bottom for catching pastel dust. The interior dividers are easily moved or removed entirely.

Bought for my husband and he LOVES it! Fits all his supplies and makes everything very portable! And a much more reasonable price than Hershners.
