He Chose the Nails Bible Study Guide: What God Did to Win Your Heart

My mentee and I did Max’s Because of Christmas at Christmas and loved that one so we chose to do this one here at Easter. Max has a way of getting us to look at something in a totally different way, something that is so obvious you just didn’t see it that way until he pointed it out. Great book. AAA

This book, in true Max fashion, gives me, a less than worthy Christian. A tearful, examination, of truly Jesus. And his even though, never being of sin. Trust in his father. Causing my Faith to be stronger.

If you want to feel and strengthen your walk with Jesus, this is the study for you! You feel like you were there when they crucified my Lord. And you feel the love of God’s forgiveness and understanding of His sacrifice. A must study!

We are using the Study guide and video in an adult Sunday School Class. We are two sessions into the five session plan. So far we are very pleased. There are some good thought provoking questions and ideas in the study. This class is a very special class of 13 adults who read and study their lessons and enter into questioning and analyzing freely. There is a book by the same title which involves 15 chapters of writings/stories by Max that are quoted in the video. I have both but it is not a necessity.

I love it, you cant make groups and everything

The fact that Jesus chose to endure the nails, the crown of thorns, the scorn and rejection and pain because of His extreme love for us. That no matter the cost to Him, He still chose to rescue us and reconcile us back to God the Father. I loved the Scripture readings for each day. The study questions were thought provoking. The companion video is great as well.

Wow Max Lucado did it again. We did the Christmas Because of Bethlehem for Sunday Morning Bible Study and we were inspired by the DVD and the lesson book that went with it. So for Easter we had to do He Chose the Nails. It was ever bit as good as his Christmas one. I would highly recommend this one.
