Ok light
light only lasted one season

A great little light
I have 3 of these lights on my Weber Summit grill. They fit the handle perfect. I'm guessing they have been on my grill for about 10 years. This is the first one I have had to replace. I totally recommend this light even if you don't have a weber. The light comes ON when you open the lid OFF when you close. I would recommend no less that 2 lights depending on the size of grill

Garbage
Piece of garbage! DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY AS ADVERTISED. WILL NOT SECURE TO THE HANDLE AS ADVERTISED. This is the second one I’ve had the first I sent back and received a replacement as I thought it was just a fluke but not the second one was just as bad as the first.

Weber grill lights
Perfect replacement of original lights which lasted over 6 years! Super bright and love the self activated feature of turning on only when grill top is open

Works well.
Bought this to replace the one that came with my Weber grill 8+ years ago. Exactly the same light. Seems a bit pricy, but it works well, the tilt switch is great. The 1st one Amazon shipped me only lasted a week before failing, it had filled with water. I was within the 30 day return period fortunately so return/replacement was easy. Replacement is functioning fine.

Not for outdoor use
It’s unexpected that a light designed for a gas grill would not be waterproof, but here we are. I bought this in July, it’s currently December, and the light looks like it was recovered from the bottom of Lake Erie. I had hoped that the only damage was the broken battery lead, but as you can see in the picture, there is circuit damage as well. One leg burned off one of the chips. Avoid at all costs, unless you are doing your grilling in the kitchen, which I do not recommend.
