Storelli ExoShield Head Guard, Military-Grade Head Protection, Foam Padding Headband, Official Headgear of US Club Soccer

Bought this for my husband who has taken up Pickle ball. He had a fall playing it & hit his head. Unfortunately, it did not knock any sense into him as he continues to play. He is almost 75yrs young but hey ho he is fit. He says it is very comfortable.

These are comfortable to wear and I am delighted that my family members do actually wear them when hedge trimming and tree pruning! For heavier or higher work, they wear full helmets, but apparently those get hot and uncomfortable, whereas these headguards are light and feel comfortable.

I bought it for skiing because I don't like wearing a helmet. I find that helmets isolate you from the noise around you and you can't hear what's going on. Also, it's too heavy for my neck, I can't stand it. So the headband is perfect for me. Lightweight, I wear it over a merino hat and it holds very well. It doesn't protect the top of the head, but all the way around in case of a fall or if my head hits the ice. I'm very satisfied.

I can't fault the quality of the product. It's very well made and I'm informed it's comfortable when worn and doesn't seem to slip much, however there is no "give" in the band so proper sizing is very important, and you should be aware that at this age it will be out-grown fairly quickly. This is a reinforced headband to prevent EXTERNAL injuries when heading a ball, such as bruising or abrasions. It absolutely has not been proven to prevent concussions, and in my opinion it is extremely unlikely that this will ever be the case, as concussions are caused by the sudden impact of the brain against the inside of the skull, and not by any trauma transmitted through the skull. Unfortunately the biggest problem I had with the guard was persuading out youngest to wear it. Unless these are being insisted upon by your school or local league, I really think you should check with your kids to see if they'll be seen dead in them. To my eye it looks unobtrusive and actually looks quite good, but try to explain that to someone who is likely to be mocked mercilessly by their friends for being different.

My daughter plays over 50’s hockey for West of England. The head guard is essential protective equipment and it fulfills the safety purpose for which it was designed.

My son loves it. Comfortable. Wear it all the time when playing football and tennis. Protected his both Cochlear Implants and from the rain to keep them dry so he is able to hear things and communication with others. Would recommending to others.

My daughter fractured her skull in a hockey accident last year and lost confidence as a result. She is a talented 1st Team Club player and top scorer. With this protection she is now top scorer again already this season and full of confidence. Thank you

Great product if worn on it's own. I brought to wear under a bomber hat, didn't work... this isn't what it is intended for anyway. As the real use, perfect!
