Great cold brew.
Coffee Bear makes the best cold brew ever and is easy to use. Holds just the right amount. Have one for myself and just gave one as a gift. Very sturdy and easy to clean... highly recommended!

Durable
High quality and durable cold brew maker! Mine has been in constant use over 2.5 yrs! It is my second, as I reached out to get a replacement part since I wanted a better seal, and they sent a new one! (I broke my lid handle as I would yank it to pour) Good customer service. Since my dispenser hardly skips a day that I am not brewing or saving for the next day, it is always being used! I wanted a way to have tasty ice coffee at hand. This does the trick! Without being spendy or using ridiculous syrups and who knows what chemical from the café’s. I can monitor my own diet and get what I like! Win win! I will also fill it with the grounds for camping and just add water when we get there. Makes coffee on those mornings easy too! It’s been my trusty coffee pitcher. I’d be so sad if it ever needed replacing. We’ve bonded.

love this!
So far I’m loving this cold brew kit in most every way. That said, I want to get the bad out of the way first: Even with careful attention to stirring the grounds my mesh filler was damaged within the first few brews. It’s just honestly disappointing because I love this kit to the fullest in every other way. It fits perfectly in my refrigerator door. The bumper at the bottom ring gives me peace of mind for protecting against the occasional bump. The filter, even with its weaknesses is well thought out. My brew is about how I like it after ~24+ hours of steeping. It has a convenient removable cap on the bottom to help remove used coffee grounds (your compost or worm bin will thank you!!!) The handle is comfortable and very convenient. I love the lid. It fits very very nice and snug and the design is very well thought out. Being able to pour my coffee without performing a juggling act is a relief. A simple turn of the lid and, “voila!” As a whole this cold brew maker is very attractive to use and store. It’s a mostly premium look and experience at what seems to be a competitive price at the time of my purchase. I will try to source glue to repair my filter and if that fails then look into a replacement from the company. EDIT: I was confident the company would reach out to me to make things right with an offer to replace my filter with their updated model. Have not heard back as of yet. Would certainly change my review back to 5* if they made this right. A product should not fail so soon - especially with the special care & attention I’d given it. EDIT2: Amanda and Justin were very quick to replace my filter once I found their email and messaged them my order number and explained my situation. 5 star product 5 star customer service.

Nice, with Caveats...
I like this brewer enough and will use it regularly. The quality of the glass carafe, it's rubber ring on the bottom and slightly larger size compared to all of the others on the market for this style right now are the reasons I chose this Coffee Panda one particularly. Things I like about it: it's a strong, attractive carafe. It feels balanced carrying from counter to refrigerator while full and even half full. All the parts fit together nicely so is easy to take apart to clean and put back together. Things I don't like: While the lid is cute and clear and fits snugly with a simple push down (nice rubber seal to keep it in place), the carafe wasn't designed for the lid to make it air-tight once on. At the pouring spout, there is a large gap, allowing air to enter (so my coffee is open to any food smells in refrigerator) . It would definitely spill if not carried very carefully to the refrigerator and one must be careful with the initial pouring of each full batch. The spilling part doesn't concern me, since I am the only person in the house ever using it. However, hubby's been warned to not knock it but to move it gently over if it's blocking what he needs to get to in the refrigerator. The only other thing is I feel like the mesh part of the filter is rather fragile. I plan to treat it very gingerly when rinsing it after each use. My first batch of coffee is in the refrigerator right now, so haven't washed it yet (beyond rinsing it before first use). As for the coffee itself, that has nothing to do with the brewer. You simply find the right ratio of coffee to water to time (6 to 72 hours) brewed, and you have an amazing cup of hot or iced coffee. So one cannot say, "this brewer makes a great cup of coffee.' ALL brewers will. Even a plain mason jar will. The reviews on these should be about the quality of the parts and ease of use/cleaning. I bought this to have a smaller brewer on hand. I normally use a huge glass pickle barrel type jar (3-gal I think) and flour sack cloth for the filter), especially in summer or when I'm having a party. I will enjoy the ease of using this smaller one for personal coffee needs. I really want to say that the founders @ Coffee Panda, Amanda and Justin, have been awesome (a word I don't use often). My brewer arrived with a broken lid (really should have been shipped in a box instead of just the thin product box). They were super apologetic and shipped out a new lid immediately. Hubby and I chuckled because the tiny, light weight lid was wrapped over-kill, waaaaay better than the entire carafe (like a penny triple wrapped in bubble wrap and a nice thick box). The kindness they showed in their emails was refreshing and was extra appreciated because during all of that, I was readying to go visit my brother who was in the hospital after having a horrendous tongue cancer surgery. Obviously Amanda and Justin couldn't have known that. But it was just nice not having to hassle with a bad company's attitude or other strangenesses while having to handle communicating a simple issue that wasn't a big problem. So I give them a 10-star review! But, this is about this particular item ;-). I wish their company great success! (And I hope they eventually make an air-tight version of this carafe)

6 cup capacity
I decided to try cold brew at home and this cold brew maker by Coffeebear does not disappoint. It’s super easy to put together and clean. I do 3/4 cup coffee grounds to 6 cups room temp water. I let it sit in the counter for about two hours, stirring the coffee grounds every 30 minutes. Then I put in the fridge overnight, I try to let it sit at least 12-14 hours. In the morning I remove the ground filter and add enough water back to the carafe to fill it. I read several reviews that the grounds get into the coffee. I have not had an issue with that. Maybe if you are trying to pour the coffee out before removing the ground, I can see that the grounds would mix with the water, but if you do what I just described, there’s no grounds at all. The lid fits really well. It’s short enough to fit in my fridge without having to move my shelves around ( I specifically had to search for one that I knew would fit in there) . And the price is great. I have used it three times, easy to clean and no problems so far. If you drink a lot of coffee, you may want a larger capacity (and if it fits in your fridge). This one lasts me four days but I mix my coffee with some protein drink along with skinny syrup and some frothed protein drink on top so I’m not using much more than a cup and a half of coffee each time.

My first experiment was good!
I am just sampling my first try at making cold brew. DO coarsely grind beans. I have no grounds in my finished coffee, just a small, very fine little bit of "sediment". I ground then weighed the ground coffee using 100 grams. I filled my pot to 1/3 full of water before putting on the filter. I filled the filter with 1/4 of the grounds, them stated adding water. Stirred. Added more grounds. Added more water and stirred. Added the rest of the grounds. Finished filling with water. Stirred. My first batch set for 18 hours in the fridge. It is very good. Smooth! I believe it will be that much better if given the full 24 hours. I purchased this pot for a couple of reasons. It has a rubber ring around the base protecting the glass. The filter has a removable bottom making it easy to clean. It has a good profile and fits on a door shelf in the fridge. The price was not the cheapest, but certainly not the highest. I have serious acid issues. I used a decaf Verena Street. It's good, but I think I will do a "half caff" at some point. So far, I am very pleased, right out of the box. Just pay attention and coarsely grind beans. If you don't have a scale, measure 1 + 1/4 cups of beans to grind. As you get the hang of it, you can scale up or down to your liking.

Very good cold brewer.
This cold brew coffee maker is great. I was a little skeptical about it when I was shopping for one. But for such an inexpensive price and Amazon's great return policy, I would try it out. Well I'm glad I did! Even before it got to me, the seller sent me an email with some suggestions on how to cold brew and a pdf attachment with some nice recipes. I also bought a can of Cafe Du monde coffee to use with it. When it arrived, I went right in. I unboxed the brewer, and was really impressed with the quality of it. Very well made. The filter is strong and the removable rubber bottom of the carafe is a really good idea to make it non-slip. I like my coffee strong, so I filled the filter with coffee to the top. Especially if you are going to add ice later to your drink, make it strong. When your filter is halfway filled with coffee, fill the carafe with water halfway as well. Mix the coffee in the filter a little bit. Then fill the filter to the top with coffee and then fill with water. Give it another couple stirs and place in the fridge. When carrying to the fridge make sure to hold the bottom of the carafe. The handle is not as strong when filled with water. Come back the next day and stir some more. Later that day, or even the next day, your coffee is ready to go. I made Vietnamese coffee with mine. I put some sweetened condensed milk on the bottom of my glass ,with a splash of milk or half and half, then ice and cold coffee. AMAZING! Worth the wait. Not bitter, but not overly sweet either. Great taste with the cafe du monde coffee. Go get yourself one of these and enjoy. I am going to try the pumpkin spice one, that is in the recipe book the seller emailed me next. Can't wait!!!

Small filter core.
Yeah it's got a big pitcher but the filter core is so small and in my case i can only use up to 110g of fresh gorunds. I was able to fill 1200ml of water so that means the coffee to water ratio is about 1:14. it will be a weak brew.

Fantastic
I've gotten a real taste for cold coffee recently, especially cold brew from a well known coffee chain, which costs £3-4 a time! Decided to give it a go at home using the Coffee Panda, had no real expectations as usually these make at home things never end up being anywhere near as good as what you can get from the pros. Turns out I was wrong, product is great quality in a physical sense, and just delivers in terms of function. First batch tastes divine and is so refreshing on these long summer days. Easy to use, reasonably priced and gives you cold brew coffee that tastes as good as that from the big boys. Take joy in thinking how you've saved £3-4 every time you out a delicious glass of Coffee Panda cold brew.

Simple and stylish
A simple and well-executed design which looks good and functions as described. It is well made and has a premium feel to it. I would be happy serving directly from this to guests, as the simple modern design is appealing to the eye. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to someone looking for an easy and compact way to make cold-brew.
