Faulty sticky
You can buy larger strips from the manufacturer that actually work fantastically. I just needed a shorter bit to fill a gap but this came bubbly and with no stick on patches of it. It's barely worked at all, but fresh large bits from a different supplier of the same item do stick down great. I think they must either be selling faulty offcuts, or just store them in a way that damages them.
