Functional
Pros:The tea stays warm (not hot) for about an hour.It makes two jumbo cups of tea or three regular cups of tea. It's lightweight enough, and the handle is large enough, that pouring is easy.No drips when pouring, which was my biggest complaint with my Le Creuset teapot. The lid stays on, also another complain I had with my Le Creuset teapot, where the lid slid right off unless you were holding it.The steeping basket has small enough holes that I didn't have significant debris even with my chai, which has finely ground pepper.Cons:The steeping basket's handle gets VERY hot, which makes it difficult to pull out. I've started using my spoon to pull it out, which is not stable or ideal. The opening is small, which means if you prefer bagged tea, you're going to have problems. The small opening also makes cleaning the teapot more difficult, as you need to have a narrow enough scrub brush to fit through the opening.Oddities:Neither a pro or a con, but the infuser basket whistles when I rinse it under the faucet.Overall:It functions for my needs, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Greatest teapot you will ever find on Amazon or at other large retailer
This is by far the best teapot I have ever owned. Speaking in generalities, it is also one of the top-five most thoughtfully crafted, ergonomically designed and ingeniously engineered products in my home. Below are the highlights:-The no-drip spout is truly a marvel of fluid dynamics (no buttering necessary, in case you happen to be British, and/or you're familiar with that practice).-The hinged stainless steel lid means no more shattered ceramic bits and pieces spraying across my kitchen floor. Previously, I was good for beheading a glass or ceramic teapot (all since converted into flowerpots) twice a year (Seriously, I am a world-renowned klutz. No, literally. Just ask the crowd who saw me try to negotiate that curb in Piccadilly Circus back in the early aughts.).-The stainless steel infuser, which fits snugly in the pot's silicone-lined rim, makes for some spectacularly flavorful loose leaf tea.My only quibble is that I wish there was a 50 or 60 oz version of this pot, so that I didn't have to make multiple brews when I'm being social or just extra thirsty. But that just means I'll have to buy another pot when the budget permits!

Pours well - strainer is easy to clean
As my son went off to college we shopped for a teapot for him to take with him - we bought him one of these in green, and he likes it so much that we bought one for us parents in orange. We had been using an IKEA teapot every morning for the last oh 20 years or so. Every morning I would sigh deeply as I used a large amount of water and lots of elbow grease to clean the stuck-on leaves out of the teapot. I had been taught that infusers don't give the leaves enough room to properly brew. This is not true! This teapot works really well. The leaves have plenty of room, and yet the infuser is a LOT easier to clean. We are still experimenting with whether it's easier to clean the infuser when it's hot or cold. The infuser mesh is very fine so little sediment ends up in the tea. The silicone ring around the top helps the infuser to stay put. Only very minor complaint is that it's necessary to tilt the infuser just-so to get it out without hitting the open lid. This is high-fire ceramic - seems less likely that we will chip or scratch the glaze. The size is good for one person that drinks a lot of tea, or for two more moderate consumers.

Delightful Essential for Kitchen
YASSS! Beautiful and smartly designed. Handle is ergonomic that when carrying teapot with full contents of steaming brewing tea that the pot doesn't seek to tip downwards when held unsupported by the other hand. Spout pours quickly and adeptly without dripping nor sloshing in the cup. Top secures snug and doesn't leak. Also, top removes completely and efficiently for washing. Really enjoy the 1 liter capacity as it is exactly two tea bags worth and good for 1.5 hours at hot temperature before consuming according to my experiences.

Love this Teapot
This little teapot is attractive and functional. I thought 37oz might be small but I get a good 4 cups of tea from this pot. I usually share tea with my husband in the evening. The pot is easy to clean. The strainer has tiny holes that keep the tea clear without particles. I like this. My strainer for my cup is not this fine and I get a cloudy tea.For the price you can’t go wrong.Color. Red is not bright red. Maybe a shade of pinkish red but it’s very pretty.

I'm very happy I bought this!
This is a great teapot! Perfect size for me, as I can make just a few cups to last throughout the day, or make full pot (5-6 cups) to share with a few friends. The infuser is very fine, so I don't get tea particles in my cup, and the spout doesn't drip when I pour. It's ceramic, so it doesn't stay hot super long, but at least long enough to drink a couple cups. Great color and style, also.

The Tealyra Drago Ceramic Teapot
This was such a great teapot! The color was so vibrant and it really stood out on our table. In addition, I like how the pot felt slightly heavy, which indicates that its made out of good material and not some cheap plastic. We have been using this teapot on our outside patio table and it shockingly keeps out tea warm for hours! Even when I pour my tea, there is no mess or hassle with this teapot. I would certainly buy again and recommend it as a gift.

Mixed Review
Attractive and easy to use. The strainer catches all but the tiniest of tea sediment. The two problems I find:1) the lid is somewhat tight and difficult to place on and remove from the pot.2) the pot opening is too small for your hand to get into in order to clean. A nottle brush is advisable.I would not let either 1 or 2 deter you from purchasing this teapot.

Surprisingly good quality.
I've had the major misfortune of owning three "brown Betty" teapots, each lasting only 2 years before the ceramic glaze starts to show cracks ("crazing" as it's technically known). We're a major tea drinking household - even the dogs like to drink tea! So when the third one started showing signs of glaze failure, we gave up trying to replace it with another (they sure don't make them like they used to do), and bought this instead. If you've never owned a teapot like this before, then you'll likely find this design to be a bit odd at first. It doesn't have the spacious round middle, the opening is much smaller, and these usually come with a container for the tea to go. But after a week of using this pot, I've discovered something rather odd - we only need half as many tea bags to make two cups of tea! Oddly I fill the pot with a teabag in the strainer - adding hot water until it covers the teabag, and voila - two decent sized cups of tea and a decent strength too. Yes the lid makes it a bit awkward to pour the water in quickly, but so what. The design - well it seemed odd to look at online, but strangely just fits in and looks the part as if it had always sat in our kitchen. It is, quite simply, a brilliant and modern looking teapot and it makes a good cuppa. Good luck deciding on which colour to get...

Good every day teapot
I've previously had white and cream coloured teapots, but inevitably the lids got chipped. Not only is this a different colour, but the lid is stainless steel mounted on rubber. Only been using it for a few weeks so cannot comment on its longevity yet. The lid flips open. The opening is quite narrow, but the whole rubber mount can be removed easily to allow for cleaning. It's still a bit trickier to clean than previous teapots. It is dishwasher safe but I will not be risking the rubber lid in there myself. The teapot is very stable as it is broad based and it pours well. It has a slot in diffuser for loose tea, but I haven't used that yet. Overall, it's a nice looking teapot that does the job well - will just have to see if the rubber & metal lid outlasts china ones!

Drink loose tea and save the world.
After the recent news about plastics in tea bags I resolved to use loose tea and an infuser style teapot. While the many glass teapots available look interesting, reviews suggest they are prone to break very easily. Other ceramic teapots seemed a bit small. These teapots came in a range of colours and are large enough to make several mugs of tea. After so many years of tea bag use I'm reminded of all those old phrases; 'Is there tea in the pot?' 'Shall I top it up?' 'Is it steeped?' It's almost impossible to tell if using loose tea is cheaper than tea bags but I at least I'm not contributing to pollution.

Love at First Pour
When your old faithful tea pot has made it last pot of tea there is this sudden fear that life as we know it is coming to an end ! A couple of new pretenders were given a chance but couldn't fill the void, step up Tealyra Drago Ceramic Teapot. It was love at first pour with this cheeky little red number many hundreds of cups later and I'm confident we will grow old together as this attractive but tough little tea pot is built to last

Perfect size, but....
We'd been looking for a large size 'stumpy' for ages and this one was ideal. 'Love the selection of colours and the strainer reaches to the bottom of the pot. But the handle for lifting the strainer out of the pot and which is just a piece of wire, sprang off the third time we used it and now springs off everytime. Clearly a bad design. We have had our smaller pot for some years, it is a slightly different design and the handle more substantial and properly attached. We will have to resort to lifting it out without the handle, when its cooled down a bit. So not dramatic but irritating. These pots are not cheap after all.
