This is perfect for my lightsaber build. Will return for another polycarbonate tube.

If you don't intend to look at it closely or aren't creating something to show, it's a great tube for building lightsabers for fun. However, it came, unwrapped, in a large box. Huge amount of small scratches and a large sticker label adhered to it. Took a long time to remove the label without adding additional marks to the tube. A simple plastic sleeve or even plastic wrap would have prevented scratches.

Man, I ordered the small one and it was nice. Then I bought this one twice the length and it's all scratched up and chitty looking. It's for interior of house but so unsightly I can't use it.

Arrived scratched and greasy. Quality of the item is so bad they didn't bother to wrap it or add air pockets to the box, because, how could it get MORE scratched. You can still mostly see through it, so, I guess that's something. I assumed I'd get a clean, new, acrylic tube. I am not sure what to call what I received, but it is not a clean, new acrylic tube.Also, I'm supposed to rate sheerness. Sheerness is defined as "To swerve or cause to swerve from a course" or "a seaport in N Kent, in SE England on the Isle of Sheppey, at the mouth of the Thames: government dockyards." This item neither causes a swerve from course, or is an seaport.

VERY durable. We used these as super quick make-shift lightsabers for a quickie parking lot martial arts demo. The guys were striking tubing to tubing...dents and scuffs, but nothing broke. We researched the material before using it and asked, what we consider, a materials expert for a safety opinion before using this in public. Polycarbonate seems to be the lightsaber material of choice on make your own and dueling lightsaber websites. We've had escrimas made from this that lasted for years. (We got them overseas and never knew exactly what they were made of until I ordered these and heard them clink.)I'm not recommending everyone go out and duel with these, just commenting that this is very durable. I was told that if they ever do break, it will be ugly business. So...safety first. I would like to highlight that we purchased the 1/8" tube wall thickness (1" outer diameter); I have no experience with other sizes.They arrived quickly, in appropriate packaging. I will probably purchase these again.

I'm another buyer intent on making a lightsaber. I ordered the 72" long 3/4"ID x 1"OD x 1/8" wall. Feels sturdy. I was nervous about shipping, after reading reviews. It came in a sturdy cardboard tube (about 3" diameter) marked Fragile. Inside that, the tube was in a plastic bag. The tube itself has no sticker, no significant marks -- it's clear, uniform, and straight. Note about photo: the bright area of the tube is not due to a problem on the tube itself, it's just the reflection from the nearby lighting. I couldn't expect better unless it was hand carried from the factory to my door itself, and it's definitely good enough to be displayed, used, or banged around in an attempt to swing the balance to your side in the cosmic battle of good vs. evil. If it lets me down, structurally, in that last regard, I will come back as a translucent ghost and update my review.

Little more scratched up than anticipated a new clear pipe to be.& I'm sure it was not caused in shipping, however that left me questioning if I should return it or not.Still, the packaging it came in was at least 8" by 8" (plus too long maybe 30" it so) cardboard box and it was dropped in that box with about a paper grocery bag size rip off brown paper.Using a 3200 grit sandpaper, then some polish it turned out okay for the display portion of coolant fluid in the desk.Just be aware, if you are going to buy clear tubing, pipe, or whatever; chances are you will have a little "buffing" to do.

Product arrived on time and unbroken but unwrapped. Covered with scratches and rough cut ends. It didn't look like it was even wiped off, had cutting debris outside and inside. Can't use it as part of a display. Disappointing.

Bought it for fabricating a LED staff.Strong, reasonably light, and slightly springy.Does not offer a lot of grip on its own.

Very clear, doesn't crack when drilling through. I've built 6 lightsabers so far with this and have been satisfied.

They measurements seems pretty spot on past that it is what it is
