Waterless Trap Seal, 2in High Flow

OMG there’s products in life that literally make the difference between hell and fantastic. I’m downtown Denver in a townhome. We have a sewer connected with too many sources. Dry P-Traps allow sewer gas to come into the home. And at 90-100 degree temp it’s horrible. This product solves the problem entirely. It allows high flow drain of water from the shower and water heater drains one way valve but seals all gases from coming up into the home. It’s crazy how incompetent plumbers are and how much they charge to never solve a problem. Watch the product video to see here they work. They install by simply inserting into the drain just a couple inches in is all it takes and presto magiko problem solved. I am beyond ecstatic on how fantastic and simple a solution this project is. ;-)

My house is on septic tank and I have a basement shower. Without regular use, the shower drain would allow septic odors to waft into the basement and occasionally septic flies would come up through the drain. This device was exactly what was needed to stop both. Installation was a piece of cake. Remove the strainer, place the green drain into the downpipe, replace strainer. Water drains easily through the device, so there's no backup. We'll see how it handles hair/scum build-up in the long term, but so far it is performing as I had hoped.

Very impressive product and highly recommended. The install is straight forward as long as you know the size needed and order the correct corresponding part. All that is need is to insert the cover, apply pressure and make sure it is secure. My biggest concern was weather or not water would still be able to flow down for my water filtration/softener when it purges at a high rate. I can absolutely say that it drains perfectly without any issues. I needed something that would alow for the drainage while blocking odors from the basement drain. This was absolutely the remedy. Any odor that I might have had in the past has been 100% eliminated. It's fits perfectly, out of sight, and for a very reasonable cost. I would say it was money well spent.

Works great. Obviously slowed my drainage down a little bit but much better than sewage gases coming out of my shower drain.
