I am not sure why I did not rate this 5 Star at the time, other than the request for the review was simply to early to warrant those marks at the time. Since I finished my project... New handles and pulls on every cabinet in the Kitchen (big kitchen area and lots of cabinets). This tool made for the PERFECT finish to the project. So Glad I made this purchase and I was very pleased with the tool. If it were not for the expectation that I may only have done this one job, I might have looked for a little heavier duty tool. Purchase this jig three years ago when we were installed new cabinets in our laundry room. This made installing hardware so much easier. Wish the guy who installed the kitchen cabinets in our house would have used one of these jigs.

This device does exactly what it should and does it very well. Fairly simple to set up and and intuitive to use. However - be sure to check the connections for square. There is some play before it tightens and can be a couple of degrees off square. I found that once locked, they kept square and were perfect to just go from door to door drilling holes. Left and right are no problem, as the tool flips easily without any adjustment. You will need spacers, which are not supplied, for any recessed panel handles you install (like are sometimes seen on drawers with centered handles). Even with the play, I'd give it a 5 if it had adjustable spacers included, because I will always check for square regardless of those factors.

Excellent tool for the job. Almost bought a more expensive tool but this one had great reviews and I completely agree with them. Sturdy metal material with perfect alignment capability.

Really works well! I was able to do about 30 cabinets in an evening, and they all turned out perfect...well except the one cabinet where I accidentally drilled on the hinge side...but we don't need to talk about that. ;) Highly recommend!

It stays accurate but if u have a large project check accuracy often and slightly snug adjusting screws. Im a Cabinet Tech and we use this same design to install handles. It's worth the price

Overall this is pretty handy but there are a few versatility issues that bring down the rating. First, this works very well for cabinet doors. Five stars for that part. But the problem is that it only works on drawers that are up to about 15" wide. It isn't long enough to work on anything wider than that and they don't sell an extension separately. If you have wide flat front drawers you will need the one with the extension which is about $30 more. I didn't see that one when I was purchasing this one. Also this will not work well on drawers that are not flat front. If you have any kind of recessed drawer front design the template will not make contact with the drawer front so the drill bit will be able to move potentially causing your hole to be off. It might work to just use to start the hole, but not as intended. The more expensive name brand that this is a copy of has a way to make it usable on non-flat drawers but that was an extra $170 which is too much for a one-time tool. Good quality construction - metal parts, and they include extra parts so you can replace the bushings if they get drilled out. Comes in a nice case to keep all the parts together. I would say it was worth the $50 I paid, I just wish I could buy the extension.

I’ve been using it for over a year within our furniture company crew and it is one of the best jig that money can buy! Sturdy metal! Also I’ve lost the replacement bushing kit and they sent me one right away so I don’t have to buy a new jig! From now on it is Lonfu all the way!
