Fast and a effective…
This stuff is absolutely amazing….. My neighbor is a hoarder and we noticed rats coming onto our property from their house. I put it traps and pellets which I spread several dozen. The traps were filled days on end loaded with bait and after catching dozens each day within 4-5 days the rat population disappeared. What was amazing I had so many rats the traps with pellets spread around them. The pellets disappeared even after several days of hard rain and the rat population seems to be under control, no rats . Fast and extremely effective and they swarmed over the scent.

Dead mice. Enough said.
Bottom line: After use, ZERO mice were left alive. My property is now blissfully bereft of all rodentia. My product history: This is the first and only mouse poison I have ever used, so I can't compare it to similar products. My experience, step by step:I had ordered 3 different types of mousetraps, and used 3 different types of bait. The mice simply weren't falling for any of it. They avoided everything I threw at them. Maybe I had the mice of Nimh or something... I don't know. They'd wake me up constantly, every night. The traps had lain unsprung for almost a month. I couldn't take it anymore! I needed sleep, and counting mice didn't do the trick! I decided to "go nuclear" and throw poison everywhere. This is the stuff I chose.I threw it all over under the floorboards and inside the walls. I probably used maybe 1/5 to 1/4 of the bag during all this. This stuff doesn't smell so good, but you can't really smell it after you place it. Its odor doesn't really travel. After having spread the poison, it actually took between 7 and 14 days before I began to notice any change in my "mouse problem". The first change I noticed was the god-awful STENCH of rotting flesh permeating my house. It was overpowering, but since I wasn't willing to tear the walls out to look for corpses, I opted to just wait it out.I literally lived with the overpowering stench of rotting flesh for more than 2 weeks. I thought I was gonna go crazy and tear my hair out... cuz I couldn't take it anymore. But in a little over 2 weeks after it had begun, the stench subsided, and I couldn't really smell a thing. My house pretty much has smelled normal ever since... and NO MICE!Sure, waiting those two weeks for the stench to subside was pretty horrific... but, in retrospect, it's quite a bit better than living with an ever-multiplying colony of mice on an ongoing basis for years, and years and years.--Final note:If you have cats, don't let them eat any mouse corpses... bad idea. I don't have cats, so it wasn't a worry for me.

Works on roof rats for my apartment balcony
During COVID, a family of roof rats moved to our apartment building. For six months, they would just run up and down the trees at night and the roof. I have been feeding birds for a year and I turned my balcony into a little oasis. I have roses, jasmines, a humming bird feeder and two seed feeders. I love it and people who walk by love it too. At first, I didn’t think rats would get on my balcony. I kept it clean and nice, swept fallen seed 3 days a week and cleaned the railings. But then one night, a jerk rat decided to visit. My balcony is the only one that has trees leaning on it which created the perfect ladder. I panicked and went into clean and seal mode… I used a dustpan at sunset, every day. Stored bird seed from the railing feeder and put a bag over the hanging feeder. One rat managed to get into the bag one night and got stuck. I woke up to the sound of it trying to escape. I replaced the bag with another zipper they could not get into. I tried humane measures. I bought an ultrasonic plug-in, rodent repellent. It did not work. At all. Then I decided to buy peppermint based natural repellants, three different brands, actually. My balcony smelled amazing, but the rats weren’t really bothered. The family (I saw 12 of them one night) did not care that there wasn’t food anymore, they just kept visiting, eating my rose buds and running on my railing. I started to loath them. I don’t like to kill anything, a bee, a spider… but those hantavirus carrying creatures had to go. I wanted to get rid of any rat that knew about my balcony.I bought poison bait blocks from a different brand, but the rats didn’t go near them. So I bought Ramik Green. It doesn’t smell awful, just like, old weird dry cat food. They carry the bait and take it back to their nest, where they eventually eat it. Which is great because I didn’t really want to see the dead bodies. I started to put the nuggets out at night on a napkin and counted how many they have taken. Night 1: I put out 50 nuggets, they were all gone. Night 2: I put out 48, they were gone in an hour, then I put out an additional 85 and they were gone by morning. Night 3: I put out a 112. By morning, gone. Night 4: 173 nuggets, all taken. At that point, I did not see any rats during the day. Night 5: I placed 140 nuggets. They took all of it. Night 6: I put out a 110… I saw one rat that night, but then it left and nothing was taken by morning. Night 7: I decided to stop putting out the poison. No rats. Couldn't even hear any on the trees or roof. Night 8: Again, absolutely no rats. So it took approx a week and a total of 608 taken nuggets to kill whatever infestation was there. Really happy with this purchase and to have my balcony back. I will continue to monitor for a month and will come back and update my review if anything changes.

Terrible product. Attracts ANTS. Hoarded by mice
Bought 2 months ago to assist with mice. It may, or may not have worked after 1 week. We had no odors, but had a week of random big flies appearing out of nowhere, even with the doors being closed because of the a/c being used.. google says it couldve been from dead mice inside the walls. But a week after that, i noticed the locations i poured these pellets, had new droppings. So i added a handfuls of more pellets. Within 24hours, pellets were all gone. And this time, none of those flies from potentially dead mice. So, i put out the sticky traps again just to test, and caught 3 juveniles. So after reading through these reviews, i saw someone write about their mice, HOARDING these pellets... that makes sense why my piles disappeared so quickly. Also, the WORST part of these pellets..., is they attract ANTS... i literally followed an ant trail from the backdoor, to an inside pile about 3 feet from the door. So i checked the other locations, and yup, ANTS. And when i first got these pellets, i tossed them behind furniture, appliances, closets, etc.. now now i need to spend MONEY on Terro ant traps.

Great food that is harmless to squirrels.
Great to use for bait in traps for squirrels...they love the poison as it's harmless!
